Quickly responded to one need for repairs, and performed the work while onsite. Knowledgeable technician. Friendly people. Competent. Hired them for another job, a roof replacement. Performed the work as quoted. Pulled appropriate permit. Much appreciated. not the cheapest, but reliable while delivering quality work.

Beyond Excellent! They had one guy on the ground full time and he placed tarps near the house to catch any debris, covered my AC unit and basically hustled to pick up anything seconds after it hit the ground. The Crew on the roof wasted no time getting the job started, and within one day had surpassed the half way point. Day two, only had four guys and they completed the roof before days end. I was very impressed by their attention to detail and keeping my property clean (haven't found but one or two nails since). So FAST, CLEAN and thorough... Highly recommend & very impressed

Great service, true to their estimate and what they would do. We moved into this house and the first time it rained we found out the roof leaked. After a failed attempt to fix the roof, we called South Bend Roofing. The worker came out and showed me exactly what he would do and showed me the underlayment they would put under the shingles and up under the siding. They backed up their work and called after the job was done to make sure everything was okay. Haven't had another leak yet, even after all the rain we have had the past few days! Very happy about that.

It took three times longer for them to come out and give me an estimate.

I didn't like giving them an "F", but the system wouldn't take N/A. They might do good work, but I will never know because they never gave me the estimate.

Work went very well. Three workers showed up and in three days they had installed a new roof over the existing roof. They even installed a ridge vent over my garage, which I didn't have before. Another nice touch was that they fabricated a drip edge to match the color of my soffit and facia. Looks really good. They cleaned up everyday and even raked my yard to make sure everything was as it was before they showed up. The project manager would stop by everyday to make sure everything was going okay.

Began work within the estimated dates window agreed upon. Friendly crew arrived timely each day and worked steadily. Job completed within the estimated duration of work. Work site cleaned up well. Roof appears to have done quite well through our most severe winter in more than 3 decades.

They responded to the call quickly. They came to look at it and repaired at the same time while I was at work. They didn't do a quote first yet not sure that I asked for one either. The job was fairly small. All in all though the service was prompt, the work was excellent, and it was a good price - so no complaints!

I called to find out what could be done about some loose siding panels on my house. Someone came within the week. He didn't have the correct hooks to fasten the aluminum siding pieces with him but said he would return. A few days later he came back and finished the repairs. I feel I was treated with the same attention and promptness as if I were a client with a large, lucrative project even though I am sure he didn't make much money on my little repair.

Project went very well. There were many work around and difficulties because of age and discrepancies with our home. They handled each one and cleared them up. They offered a lot of good ideas and suggestions. Quality of work was very good. Clean up could have been better, but they did come back and take care of it. They were the highest bid for this project, but there were no surprise upcharges and I believe they did more than what was quoted for. I was more interested in the job being done correctly, than in price. It's nice when you have a crew that knows what they are doing. Our crew leader, Wayne, had over twenty years of siding homes. Our sixty year old home looks new again. We are very satisfied with the work that was done and it is very likely that will use South Bend Roofing and Siding for our roofing project next summer.

There was a small leak a few days later, however, they responded immediately and rectified. Owner very nice & understanding of economical times, allowing to extend payment date. Understanding & appreciative of that!

Great job. I got 4 bids. Highest was $15,000, next highest was $10,000, then $7,500. South Bend Roofing was the best at $5,000. He even reattached my old power vend cover that had blown off the roof for no charge when he did the estimate. He gave me samples of the shingles. I looked them up and found they were very high quality 30 year shingles. The date was set. I offered to pay in advance, he said to pay after the job was done. I went to work that day at 8am and returned at 5pm to find a new roof and no sign that they were ever there. My neighbor said that the crew was the most efficient and organized team he ever watched. Job took them 7 hours total. He mailed a bill a week later. Everything was better than expected.

Overall, quick service on the response to my request, and an honest statement that they could not do the job. Since they could not do the job, I rate them a B based on a quick response.

They were very punctual and professional. They clean up afterward could have been better.

They followed up promptly about my request for a quote to replace my soffit. I had to use a specific material due to historic district requirements, and I learned that they do not work with this material at all. Nonetheless, the contact took some of his own time to find out two potential contractors who do, called me back with their contact information, and suggested I go to them. He didn't have to do any of this, but he went out of his way to help me when there was nothing in it for him. Really appreciated that.

Called to get someone out for a est. and they where very rude and short. Seemed to busy and like my job was not worth there time.

To make the insurance company and us happy about the job ahead, South Bend Roofing were nice enough to take pictures of the project before, during and after. From the pictures we saw of the roof which is about 32 feet up, they did a fantastic job. We spoke to a couple of them as they worked on the flat roof on the 2nd day as they had to replace some plywood and a few rafters and they were very courteous and explained what they had to do and why. Alot of places don't do that. The job was a two day job and they kept the place always picked up. We inspected the place after the first day and it was all cleaned up. No trash, nails nothing left to show they were even there. By that time the main roof was complete. When we came after the work was done the 2nd day, the same. You wouldn't even know they were there. My tenants said they were very courteous and careful not to damage anything or leave a mess. We were very impressed with their work.

They were good. The price was a little expensive but it was worth it. I was very satisfied all the way around. I would definitely use them again.

I spoke with Barry on the phone who was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Despite having a backed up schedule for full roofing jobs, they stopped by to give me a free estimate and worked in my small repair within several days after I called. I haven't received an invoice yet (the repair was made just yesterday), but the estimate was reasonable and the job appears to be well done. Already had some strong winds and a thunderstorm, and everything held up beautifully.

Our project is still in the initial stages of securing the needed funding, but by far this company has provided the best information and has helped our HOA to understand the products and materials available to us. The professional manner and excellent response time of this company is very impressive. I would highly recommend this company for any of the services they provide. Judy
