Smart Contracting is appropriately named! Charles not only sells a quality window, he measures, installs and finishes the job himself! His attention to detail is rare to find in a contractor this day in age. You truly would be “Smart” hiring this firm!

It went really well. Said he would be there at 8:30/9:00 AM and he was there at 9. They had the old one out and the new one in with everything cleaned up and the old door hauled away by 1:30PM!!! (And it was the 23rd of December!). I was very happy with the work.

They did a good job. It was a fair price.

It was amazing, they had to removed giant windows and they did a wonderful job, great cleanup and it was quality work. I'm a very detail-oriented person and they answered all my questions in detail. I would recommend them highly.

The only complaint we had of Chuck was all the nails left lying around the base of the house when he removed the old siding and installed the new.  We can still find them once in a while.  It was not all his fault, though, because I don't recall we mentioned it at the time.  We had to totally re-build this formerly neglected house and were extremely busy .  The only other thing is that the sliding glass patio door in the kitchen did not have a latch on the screen door portion and he was going to bring us one or install one for us.  To this day we do not have a latch.  Small problem because due to allergies we almost never use the screen door as we have to keep the doors/windows closed.  I definitely would have Chuck work for us again.  He was a hard worker, knew how to do the work properly, and kept in touch with us regularly.  He was also good to offer advice on other problems we had around all the construction being done and about other contractors, etc.  We considered him a good friend all the time he was around and missed him when he was gone.  The place is still very attractive and we are proud of it thanks to Chuck Stewart.
We have been trying to contact  him for another project in Mishawaka, Indiana but did not have enough information yet, so thanks to Angie's List we now have information for him.  Hope to talk to him soon.
