Peacock & Co Inc

Let me start by saying that my bathroom is BEAUTIFUL, getting to that beauty was quite a challenge. I also have to say that peacock and co. is not cheap. They have specific companies for tile and plumbing they like to use, and it's not discount stores. We decided to go with Peacock because both my mother and mother in law had them redo kitchens - which both had exceptional results all around. That said, we had little problems that kept coming up most were not Peacocks fault - the tile we ordered didn't pass quality control and was on back order for almost 2 months ( and of course its made in Italy) Our designer, Elizabeth was wonderful with exploring different options so we didnt have to stop work and wait for tile, and Steve our contractor did great refiguring the tile work. We had issues with the adhesive for the tile coming thru the grout, which Steve came back twice to fix. The tile on the shower threshold wasnt leveled propery, causing water to leak out if the shower, which Steve also fixed. The electriciian did not mount my lighting evenly, the stopper in the sink wasn't connected correctly and they forgot to caulk around the window. Little thing easily fixed, yet incredibly annoying. My main problem is the fact the the plumbers never fixed the leak for which this whole project was started. We had the contractor rip up the floor to find the leak, which they thought they discovered in a loose connection, but of course was not the case. Long story short, the didn't locate the leak and we had to rip apart my ceiling below the bathroom. Ahhhhhhh......we spent so much money on this bathroom and could not use it until they fixed the leak. Now my bathroom is beautiful, yet the bad luck and small issues just drove me nuts.

Don't get me wrong, I don't know if it's murphy's law or just my bad luck, but we were expecting much more from Peacock.

Overall, it went well and in a timely manner.

They were very quick.  We really had to be on the ball as far as making sure that the people who did the job actually knew what they were supposed to be doing.  We spent a lot for the project.  I love my kitchen overall.  They did a good job.  They gutted it and sealed it off like they said they would.  The kitchen was gutted and reconfigured in three weeks.  It was pretty impressive.  They are pretty good compared to other companies.  They claimed that they were going through growing pains at the time because they had laid everybody off.

Overall the job went very well from start to finish.  This job was seven years ago and I  don't remember their being a problem with anything.  The job was finished Jan 2004.  We started talking with them in Oct 2003 and I don't remember when they actually started the job.  I thought it all went in a timely matter, especially since it fell over the Holidays.  It took a little longer but only because we had ask for so many extra things to be done.  
Their designer helped us with so many things. He had ideas that helped us to make better decisions.  The designer also worked with our decisions and ideas. 
We were able to go down to the co store, office  to look at all the selections for cabinetry and ideas for our kitchen.  They were very good about helping us design our kitchen.
All of the job site was always cleaned up and hauled away. Even the old appliances. This was something we agreed upon in the contract.
I gave an estimate of $60,000.00 for the job, I don't remember exactly the total amount.  We kept adding things to be done so of course it added up.  We added hardwood floors in living dining area and hallways.  Also pine ceilings and beams in living dining area. Also pine ceiling and walls in hallways.  We wanted a rustic look and they did what we ask without a problem.
Very Happy with the way everything turned out and we don't regret the money spent or what we did.
The staff is very professional and always helpful.

Peacock was much more professional than any roofer we've dealt with in the past. They did excellent work and cleaned up before they left every day.

They were very courteous, prompt and did the job well. I would recommend them and would not have any hesitations using them.

We had several people out and chose Peacock. The were there everyday on time and very professional . We had ask for extra work to be done that wasn't the plan originally and they did the work. It ended up being more money than we originally planned for but was well worth it, This went thru the holidays and they never took off any extra days except for Christmas of course and New Years. Contact with the office was always handled promptly and we couldn't have been more pleased. If we wanted to change a design they accommodated with no hassle. The tile work they did was awesome. We had a lot of design ideas of our own that they helped us with and applied to our remodel. They made the contact for the hardwood flooring and it was installed by someone else. Very happy with that. They hauled away all the trash from the remodel and cleaned up after themselves everyday. They have a warranty on their work and just about at the end of the warranty we had a problem with our cabinet doors and they were prompt to come out and take care of it with no charge to us. We have since had no problem with anything. This was approximately six years ago.

Two years ago Peacock went over a plan with us, sent out a team to continue planning and guiding us in selecting items for redesign. Just before the project started, a crew came through to do a walk through so everyone was on the same page and knew expectations. The project took about a month. We were able to make adjustments along the way as we saw needs. The Peacock team is professional and desires to satisfy the customer. I really appreciated how they clean up at the end of the day and take away all trash quickly and efficiently. They donated some of our cabinetry that was reusable to Restore. I was VERY happy with the end results. The bathroom is stunning--very modern looking and great colors. The kitchen turned out beautiful with new quartz countertops, colors that flow with our family room designs and a water problem that had existed was finally resolved. Peacock persisted until we were completely sure it was resolved. This past summer again we hired them to redecorate and remodel primarily the second story of our home, as well as the dining room on the first floor. We started in June and again it took about a month. Peacock does quality work. If you are not satisfied, they will make adjustments. The painter was excellent. The carpenter on the job has a wide range of skills and the bathroom cabinets turned out very clean and good-looking. They reused the mirror in the bathroom and redesigned it into two mirrors with added trim. We were able to retain the floor tiling because our project manager used a product that cleaned it up and made it look new. Saved us some money. Overall, the team did a really nice job. I would highly recommend them because the company has good work ethic and excellent customer satisfaction policy.
