We really appreciated the prompt and professional service this firm provides.  An added bonus was the communication we had with the service provider. Chris called us each step of the way to explain what he wanted to do and completed the task within (3) days.
We think our wells are working better than when they were first installed.  Would recommend this company to anyone!

Very quick response. In and out of my house within a half an hour. Nothing major needed to be fixed but he was very helpful and provided suggestions for minimizing the sound coming from the tank since it always runs and is located in our guest bedroom in the basement. Surprised that the service call was over $100 for such a short amount of time, but I'm thankful the noise hasn't returned so far.

May 23, 2014, 8:45am I called Maurer Well Service, Inc., a woman picked up the call and I explain to her when I turn on a faucet the pump goes on and there is a clicking noise coming from the switch which sounds like it's going on and off. She transferred the call to Chris which I repeated to him what I said to the woman. Chris was able to come out to examine and correct the problem on the same day that I called.

Chris explain in detail what was happening to the water tank and since I don't know anything about well service he explain the situation over the phone to my husband. The short story....replace the undersized water tank that had been installed when the house was built in 2005 with a new efficient water tank.

Chris was professional over the phone and in person. He also informed my husband and I that our sump pump isn't working and told me if my husband needed help with installing the sump pump or had any questions to give him a call.

Co-owner came out between sons' baseball games, first to thoroughly diagnose that it was the pump, then came back to replace it.  Chris was thoroughly engaging, explaining each step that he was doing.  It turned out to be the check-valve on the pump, but given the age of the pump, we chose to replace the pump.  I would call this vendor back again in a heartbeat.

Awakened to no water pressure on Friday the 13th.  We knew it was either the well pump or pressure switch.  I had to leave town in the morning for an appointment that day .  Called Maurer when they opened.  Provided information to them about the well and pump.  They provided an estimated arrival of 2:00-4:00 that afternoon.  Chris called at 1:30 to confirm a 2:00 arrival.  He replaced the pressure switch and added air to the pressure tank.  He was courteous and answered all of my wife's questions and gave her several suggestions on bringing the well pump back into operation.  Later, we had some questions about water pressure settings for our open-loop geothermal heat pump and he answered them to our satisfaction.

Maurer was the only service that first helped me to diagnose the issue (with no fee in sight), before actually drilling a new well. Their advice was spot on; they came quickly, and drilled efficiently. And they came in right on budget.

Knew his business -- figured out the problem and ameliorated it.  Didn't fix something that wasn't broken, which I appreciated.  Price seemed high for the amount of time he was there.

We lost our water late on a Wednesday night, went to bed and called Maurer Well Service the next morning. To my surprise a man came out that morning to diagnose the problem. It was the pump. Two other men came out to change the pump and all was well by 1:30 that afternoon. WOW! All were friendly and professional, great service. I would defiantly use them again if we ever have a problem.

We had been experiencing the problem with water flow surges since we took possession of our house in June 2012.  We had great difficulty finding any well driller/service in our immediate area which would respond to and return our phone calls.  Doing further research on line, there was either no information or negative reviews on well service providers.  I expanded the search and found Mauer Well service in South Bend.  Our initial call was answered almost immediately and the follow up call to discuss the problem was very timely.  Even though it is over 20 miles from his place of business to our house, he was willing to come out and do the work.  When he arrived he was very professional and friendly and did an excellent job of installing the new well tank and switch.  The price seemed very fair.  The problem has been solved and we are extremely happy with the work and products.  Any future well work we need done will be done by Mauer Well Service.

Great. My well system, of which I know nothing, had stopped functioning. They came out and quickly diagnosed and repaired it. I asked them about upgrade options to avoid future problems and they gave me a fairly priced proposal. Did the work and all is well.

He had a newer style tank and explained the reason for the tank so it made sense. When I looked it up on line, it was clear that he made his money on the service call and not the part. It makes me more comfortable that I am paying them for the service and not for the part because I could have ordered that part on my own.

Once he arrived at my home all of the components of the pump were evaluated prior to pulling the pump and replacing.  No doubt with the final result which required replacement of a 20 year old pump.  The job was completed smoothly and every measure was taken to ensure quality installation and service prior to leaving.  Service call was friendly, informative and sincere. 

My well pump stopped working late Sunday night. I called Maurer on Monday morning, and was able to schedule a visit to diagnose the problem that afternoon. After diagnosis, they quoted me a price for replacing the pump and were able to do it right away. The first two people i talked to on the phone were not particularly helpful and friendly, however the people who came to my home were all friendly, helpful and professional. They got the problem diagnosed and the pump replaced quickly. I did not shop around, but believe that the prices were competitive with other service providers.
