If you have ever had construction done on your home....you know what a mess it creates. Scott and his crew did their best to make it a pleasant project, keeping my backyard safe for me to walk and cleaning up after each phase was done.
I started this idea of wanting to have an outdoor space to entertain and a place for my grandchildren to play safely. I felt that the front of my home would be the best spot, but, after much conversation with Scott, he suggested we visit the back yard and see how that could be accomplished. His suggestions were spot on. I have access to my deck from my large sliding door and thru the back door. I have a covered space, if it rains, and an outdoor space to enjoy the sun. Life is good.
Scott was open to all my changes. I am a woman! The deck and porch grew bigger and I decided I wanted a roofline that would highlight the porch. Scott built a hip roof and it was the perfect suggestion. He also said that it will do better in the wind as I am near Lake Michigan . Each time a change was made, he would give me an estimate of what the change would cost so I could keep up on my expenditures. He was patient, too.
I would definitely recommend Scott Konkey , Konkey Construction and Renovations, as the man to do your next project. I trust his judgement, I appreciate his focus on detail and his personal attention in making my outdoor- living -space dream come true.
