Terrible. This all began last February (2013) when I got an audit letter from the local IRS office. It is now more than SEVEN months later, and no settlement with the IRS has been reached. McGowan and I last met on 25 April, with the IRS agent. Since then, I have had no contact from McGowan, other than in early June when I had to get a CPA friend to get McGowan to return my emails. And, since then, I have contacted McGowan again, and can't get him to reply. And, this is after I have already paid him several thousand dollars in fees. He is unprofessional, unresponsive, overpriced, and doesn't fight for his client. He merely sits back and waits for the IRS to do something, while my tab gets running up (at $240 and hour!!!), and has never gotten proactive on my behalf. I have no idea where my audit stands. This is the worst professional representation I have had in my entire life, and I've got some serious health issues and this guy could care less.



Note that this has been going on, for over seven months. I had to put a date of 25 April 2013 as to the date of service, since no overall time period can be entered.
