Steve Farrell epoxied the garage floor in 2018 or 2019. The paint is peeling off the floor. Steve has not responded to several calls. I'm very disappointed. Can someone recommend an honorable and capable painter to help?

His customer service is beyond excellent, the quality of the work he did for me was exemplary, and his crew, as was he, were a delight to work with and took great pride in taking care of me and my project with superior skill and courtesy?
no ?baby sitting? required!
And - they responded to my ?emergency? even though they were very busy.
Squeezed me in when I really really needed help.
He also can do a lot of other things besides painting? like replacing some broken linoleum tiles in the houses? kitchen, and a bunch of other odds and ends.

This is not my first time using Steve Farrell/Farrell Finishing. They have painted a couple of the rooms inside my house as well, removing old paneling and patching cracked ceilings, so I had some idea what to expect. Steve uses very high quality paint and does two coats. His crew is both friendly and professional. They vary in ability, but he seems to know their strengths and weaknesses and divvies tasks accordingly.

It started with Steven helping us choose our colors. He suggested a color that I would have never selected myself and the house turned out incredible. He was willing to work with me as we got the color scheme together and checked with me to be sure that I was still loving it as the job progressed. It ended up taking much longer than expected to finish the job because of the weather, but he and his crew showed up on every dry day with a smile on their faces and ready to work.

The house needed a lot of prep. This and clean-up are the two places where I felt that quality wasn't as high enough to earn an A rating. It was certainly good work, and good enough for our purposes, but it wasn't the same level of quality that I have seen him do on interiors or that I have seen on some other exterior painting jobs. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to use him and his crew again.

Steve was extremely professional and did a great job. I had some existing crown moulding, and I wanted to add more in another area. The new moulding met the old moulding at one spot, and it came out perfectly. It was absolutely seamless and I couldn't tell the new from the old, which is what I wanted. The chair rail came out really nice too, even though he pointed out that my drywall had a little bit of a curve to it; he still made it look really nice. He painted the moulding with the trim paint that I had, which I hadn't even asked for so that was really nice of him.

The price was great too. I had three estimates and his was the best. I only spend about $615 including materials. One guy had wanted a little over $800 not including materials.

Mr. Steve Farrell impressed us. He came to our house and talked to us. We had him come in March for the painting job. He was very nice and very friendly. He took his time and went over things with us. We felt very comfortable with him. It was a big area of the foyer that needed to be painted and the upstairs hallway needed to be painted as well. When he came to paint, he brought two other guys with him. We trusted his judgement. He was supposed to do some cosmetic work on the walls as well. He was done with everything in one day which we were not expecting. He was very friendly but we felt that he rushed it and so, he had to come back to our house to do some make up work because we were not happy. We don't think that we got $850 worth of painting work done.

Overall I was not very impressed; the day that Steve showed up he had two other assistants with him which was fine with me, but I was not planning on them to be done with every thing in one day.  I thought for sure that they would take their time smoothing out the walls and priming; but instead they were done in one day which is very timely, however you could tell that they rushed to get the job done and it showed. Their were imprefections still on the walls and streaks from the paint's sheen from the way he rollered the paint (some parts where drying and others areas were still wet when they went over it again); so I had to call Steve back out to please fix some of these imprefections, he was very nice about that and he did come back  and took care of the problem spots. However I was not thrilled to discover paint splatter on my beautiful hardwood floor, trim, crown molding and banister; I was shocked when I discovered this. I did see him use tape and drop cloths; so I am  not sure how this happend. Also it was very nice of them to clean up after they were done; one of Steve's associates vacumed my upstairs hallway and Steve cleaned up my hard wood floor.

Farrell Finishing worked extremely fast, only in part because we were replacing rather than painting the windows. Since no one was home, Steve Farrell and his two painters arrived early and worked late, finishing the main work in just two days. For the estimated price, they chose the top-quality Benjamin Moore paint, a big expense, because Steve said it would look the best. Steve focused on carpentry repair, brushing and touchups while his painters worked fast with low-pressure sprayers. There were a few cases of overspray that Steve addressed, as he did any additional concerns. Made an old gray house look white and shiny. Excellent price and good work. Would use them again.
