They came on short notice after another yard care company (from Angie's list) did not come as promised.  I called them Saturday morning and they were out Saturday afternoon.  The price was high because it was two weeks worth of mowing.  Long story unrelated to their service. We are out of town, our lawn mower broke for my nephew to mow.  The neighbors were complaining.  He relieved a lot of stress from our time away.  He is now hired long term to avoid similar circumstances in the future. 

Work person arrived early each morning and worked in the yard and gardens for about 4 hours per day.  It was during an extremely hot period of last summer.

The best experience we had for our leaf removal since we have been living here for 16 years.

We've been using their lawn mowing services for several years.  They show up as promised, and finish quickly.  Sometimes need prompting to do more than minimal trimming.  Workers are generally pleasant and responsive.  One minor complaint about their billing:  can't get them to list dates of service on their invoice, though I have asked repeatedly.

I pay them $40 a week for the lawn service and $75 for the leaf removal. I will continue to use them in the future.

They always do a really nice job. They come a couple times a week in fall. The $300 covers about 6-7 weeks of leaves clean-up. They are really easy to deal with and very professional.

The company had put fliers in local mailboxes about their service and I was especially interested in having one company do all 3 components of the job. Their price seemed reasonable and they were located near my home. Because of uncertain weather conditions, it was hard to get a definite day/time commitment from them for service. I showed them the yard work to be done when getting an estimate. I spoke with them on the phone to remind them about what I wanted done and asked them to do the gutter cleaning for an additional fee. By chance, I arrived home as they were completing their work. They informed me that they hadn't been able to do the gutter cleaning because the gutters were frozen. I asked if they would come back another day to do it and they were vague, saying they would do so if the weather was better. They finished up and I saw them pulling away, but they were leaving behind one of the piles of leaves. I had to catch them as they drove down the street and remind them that they were supposed to pick up that pile (which they had thought belonged to my neighbor, although it was clearly on my side of our property line). I was charged an extra $20 for the pile of leaves and I hired a different company to do the gutter cleaning a couple of weeks later. The gutters were heavily clogged, but the second company was equipped to handle it and I believe that Emerald Forest just didn't have any heavy-duty equipment and had hoped to get away with a kind of hosing out of the gutters. I HAD warned them in advance that the gutters were quite full. The quality of the yard work was poor--they yanked out some plants along with weeds and they were not very attentive to details. They left window boxes untouched, for example. They did the bare minimum. I would not hire them again.

Very satisfied with two years of service and have contracted for next year.

They are great at not pushing other services at me. I will get a brochure ever once in a while. For their service, they are pretty good about coming by every day to check for leaves. Their punctuality is outstanding. I will continue to use them in the future as long as they stay in business.
