I've used Child's Play for several years now and my lawn looks MUCH better than it did when I had other services which used chemical treatments. It took a couple of years to get the lawn in good shape, but the service warned me it would and now it's fine. The lawn is thicker and healthier and I feel better not adding to the load of toxic chemicals in the environment. The lawn is not perfectly weed-free; I get dandelions that need pulling and clover, which blends in nicely and doesn't offend. When I had other services, though, I still had dandelions and other nastier weeds, along with some serious bare spots. When it's mowed, it's among the best looking on the street. It's expensive, but they do have some less expensive programs.
