Moving
Worst move ever. Horrible experience!
We moved to another state. We called Callan & Woodworth (Allied movers) for a quote.They assigned a rep to work with. He came out and looked over things. He emailed a quote.After deciding to go with this company we could not get any calls returned from the rep. We were supposed to be working with him, but he was never available by phone. We had to keep calling the office to verify that we were on the schedule.
The packers were terrible! Things were missed that were supposed to be packed. One entire drawer of kitchen utensils was left behind. Items that were supposed to be left with the house got packed. Labeling made no sense. Some boxes contained empty containers. There was so much paper in boxes for items that did not need special care. Items from different rooms got packed together, but things that went together were separated into different boxes. The part of the coffeemaker were in 3 different boxes. This has been a very frustrating experience.
The haulers - Reebie Storage - (another company contracted by Allied) were actually pretty good. They worked hard and quickly. We don't have any complaints about them. The whole experience working with Callan & Woodworth was terrible.
