BFS Plumbing

Poorly. His hired help was incompetent and screwed things up repeatedly which caused floods and leaks. He did not properly instruct his hired help, who made repeated mistakes, so that was on him. He improperly installed numerous fixtures and pipes. He did not adhere to code. The St. Joseph County plumbing inspector found flaws with his job instantly. We found some of those flaws and pointed them out to him, but he refused to fix them. When the inspector contacted him, he sent a false invoice to us (presumably out of spite/rage). Do not hire him.

We had to replace two exterior spigots - one that was attached to a crawl space that is basically impossible to get into. We had had them worked on before, but the prior outfit did a subpar job. Smitty and his partner were prompt, thorough and got the job done right for a reasonable price. Everything works great now. Would definitely call again!

He was right on time and did the work quickly. He was right on the estmate, which was very resonible.

So Monday morning at 7 am I called Smitty at BFS and he worked me into his schedule by mid afternoon. In less that an hour he repaired the pipe, a faucet and checked the dishwasher, all for his $85 minimum charge. Very happy with the great service.

Very good! It was not very expensive. There is nothing bad about them. They know exactly what they are trusting about it taking in to the specialist.

Again, BFS was extremely prompt, came out and fixed the pipe in short order. There were blockages in 3 places and all have been working great since. Plus, they fixed our kitchen sink and bathroom shower head while they were out -- even though it wasn't part of their original estimate. We originally found BFS through our home warranty (they were assigned to our first plumbing issue in our new house). For this fix, I didn't even bother contacting the home warranty company because it would mean BFS could come out sooner and I knew their price would be great. I would highly recommend them!

I was connected with BFS after filing a claim through our Home Warranty for a leak under our laundry room sink. BFS was very responsive, called quickly to set up a time to stop by, and got the work done quickly. The price was good because it was simply a $75 service call fee through our Home Warranty. No problems with the sink since and I would use them again -- with or without a Home Warranty.

I have used him several times and I have never had an issue with his work. He has a great personality. His prices are very reasonable.
