We needed a complete upgrade to our electrical service. We looked in the phone book, checked Angie's List, and decided to use Atlas Electric Plus owned and operated by John Palmer who works alone.
He gave us a very resonable estimate for the amount of work to be done. We signed the contract and he started the following week.
This was the best decision we have ever made on a home improvement project. He was tireless: installing boxes, running wire, up in the attic, down on the main floor. My wife and I were tired just watching him work. It took 7 days to complete the project because he checked every wire, outlet, switch in the house. We found him very friendly with a good sense of humor, very easy to talk to, and a great understanding of our ignorance of anything electric.
It was a pleasure to see John work...no cutting corners, great attention to detail, and a tireless worker. We will never look for another electrician whenever we need additional electrical work done. His installation surpassed the city and county codes, and we will probably never blow a circuit again.

Job was completed to our satisfaction. A tremendous amount of work was involved since all electrical wiring in the house was replaced. John also had to work in service for others, so he not only did work for us but there were times he had to work elsewhere. However, there was no extended period we were without electical power. Wiring was done both in the home and a freestanding garage. Our house needed to be grounded, interruptible circuits needed to be installed in the bathroom, kitchen and basement. The basement outlets were also raised higher to avoid potential flooding. The kitchen range and the dryer were also rewired to have a four prong grouded plug and outlet to provide safety for our grandchildren so the cabinet would not be a shock potential. The microwave oven was put on its own circuit and we had no more breakers tripping due to running something and then using the microwave. Basically, John rewired aaccording to our lifestyle. New outlets were addded inside and outside the home. A light and ceiling fan put into the living room. Where John saw that something should be done, he took care of it. He listened to what we suggested and was more than ready to do his best to accomodate us. There were also times he worked beyond what would be considered normal hours to complete something he wanted to finish.
