the work was done as scheduled. I have not been on the roof but the leak is fixed.

We felt really good about using them. My husband actually did the research, he did mention that they were really local; I am not sure where the other places are, whether they are out of Bloomington or even closer but we like to try to go local as we can. Other than that they had good reviews on your website. They also came out very quickly and they came out when they said they would, the next day or something because we had some more rain coming up. So that was great. I don’t know what to compare it to but we were glad it wasn’t a really expensive repair because you never know, maybe we got lucky. It could have even cost a discount roofer a $1000 to do this, even if they weren’t trying to gouge us, we just don’t know, and we got lucky. It is a mom and pop business, so it is a pretty laid back but professionalism is fine. It is not what you would expect in the big city maybe but he was very courteous with us. He explained things well and I think promptness is a part of professionalism.

The work itself was fine.  I did feel like after receiving 3 other estimates for a following job that McCoin tended to try to scare me into doing more than was needed.  I know this is the most common problem with roofing companies.  I also know that they want to be conservative because they've seen how wrong things can go when a roof goes bad and I also know that there are many, many unscrupulous people who will happily sell you a roof you don't really need for another 5 years.  Lastly, I know that owning a house means you will have to replace the roof and that this is very expensive.  After weighing all those options, I felt like McCoin was a bit aggressive in the recommendation and in the price.  
There are good for small repairs and if you know what you need and what you don't need.

They did a good job in a timely fashion.

Tim's crew is experienced, professional and honest. The residence has a tongue and groove redwood decked roof that is part of an open beam ceiling that was saved by Tim's firm.  The extent of the damage they had to correct was evidenced by the 50 foot tarp they had to remove to start work on the house. You do not have to be present when this crew works on your house as they will care for it as if they own it.

Great experience from start to finish.  Tim came out and gave a quote.  The work they completed actually came in under budget.  Would definitely hire again.

They came out to give an estimate and the gentleman was very polite and straight-forward as to what he saw as problems and possible solutions.   He gave estimates for several levels of work, depending upon how much I actually wanted done.

I had a scheduling problem and he accommodated my time schedule.   We were able to work out a mutually agreeable work date.

The work crew was very efficient and the cleanup was excellent.   I only found a couple of nails on the ground that were missed.

The final charge was the amount of estimate I selected.

I am very happy with the quality of the work.

They solved the leaking problem I was having in my back porch. They did the job quickly and efficiently. They provided a free estimate. The gentleman that came out for the estimate was very nice and knowledgable.
