Michiana Timber & tree believes in the future of your property. Whether it is tree service in your yard or timber harvesting on your farm. Our family owned company uses sustainable practices, so you can enjoy healthier trees. The owner is present on every job, so you can rest assured your property and trees receive the best care possible. We are fully licensed, bonded & insured. We've had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau since 2012. 2001 started processing and selling firewood to the public. 2004 Slabach Logging LLC was founded to harvest hardwoods for timber companies. 2008 when the economy tanked, we shifted our focus to harvesting timber & log marketing for private timber owners. 2011 we invested in a small band sawmill to offer our customers the option of having their trees turned into usable lumber. 2014 we started the tree service side to accommodate our existing customer's tree needs. 2017 we changed to Michiana Timber & Tree to better line up with our mission

They came on time, worked tirelessly until the job was done, and cleaned up the mess. They even cleaned up my limbs from a previous storm. I would highly recommend this Company, they are GREAT.

The guys were very professional and cared about my yard and flowers. They took the extra time to lay down smaller tress to make sure the bigger trees didnâ t destroy my yard when they came down. They also took the extra time to make sure the grass was all cleared up. They even cut up some of the smaller trees for me to use in the fire pit. Plus, the best part I got free wood chips from the job for the flower beds.
