Mitch was fantastic. We had a full size cabinet cracket by big box store installers during a remodel double oven installation. The installation company was of little help in fixing their own mistakes. Found Rockwell on Angie's List, and after reading reviews, hired him. Not only did he do a great job repairing the crack in one day ( requiring two visits- one to prepare, glue, fasten, and clamp the area, and a second visit to remove and finish), he also helped us properly install the oven that the installers had botched. Would absolutely hire again for any cabinet work.

We are going to be using Mitch Rockwell. I just contacted him again today indicating we are intending to go ahead with the job. He was very responsive on the request for a quote.

He was very responsive. We did not get competitive bidding but based on what I knew of the material pricing, I thought it was a very competitive price.

I couldn't be more pleased. We had two options: repair it or have them reproduce the door. They advised us to try the cheaper option of repair. The door was ready in the time promised and it looks as good as new. It was hanging by a thread and after repair you can't even tell that it was damaged. The door has been in use for 5 months now and we haven't had any issues at all. I would use and recommend Rockwell for any woodworking/cabinetry needs.

Mitch did a beautiful job. He is professional and a very talented carpenter. He paid attention to detail and did an outstanding job. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to family and friends.

They are simply the right people for this type of job, period.  Don't hire a "do it all" handyman, or general contractor for something as specialized as this.  Their knowledge of wood types and finish types is very very helpful.  I'm sure alot of people would come and put a cheap varnish on our bar that would look great for a year...but over time, you want to use the good stuff.  Mitch has over 10 years experience in doing this...there's no substitute for that level of experience.  highly reccommend.

The project turned out EXACTLY as we had envisioned it. There were no hidden factors and all areas of concern were addressed at the point of the initial quote. The project was completed slightly over the time frame initially discussed but all work was meticulously done. Mitch is a perfectionist and all of the new pieces and cabinets match our previously existing non-mass produced cabinets. The finished project is exactly what we wanted. We would definitely recommend him and will use him again for any future cabinetry projects needed!

We had used Mitch Rockwell to install custom-built bookshelves plus baseboards, ceiling moldings, and a custom-built mantle for a previous job and really liked his perfectionism and attention to detail, so we arranged for him to replace baseboards in a hallway and bathroom.  His work blends in perfectly with everything that is already there and makes the whole room look much better.

We had called Rockwell about making/installing refrigerator panels on a new refrigerator we were ordering and needed them to match our current 18 year old kitchen cabinets. Mitch also made a frame for our microwave to create a built-in look for our countertop microwave  that fit in a cabinet above our oven.  He was very knowledgeable and professional and provided us with an estimate based on the dimensions of the refrigerator, the wood type and design. When our refrigerator arrived, he came and took detailed measurements and when the panels were made, took one of our cabinets in order to get the stain/varnish matched to our current cabinets.  He installed the panels and microwave trim and they match so well they look like they have been there since the beginning-absolutely spectacular.  Everything was completed on time and done perfectly.

My experience with them worked out well. I did not pay anything extra other than the big deal purchase. I liked their professionalism. They did a good job.

Mitch has done multiple projects over a couple of months for us.  He is very professional and gets right to work upon arrival.  Gives you an estimate of how long it will take and is precise or gets the job done earlier then expected.  He pays attention to detail and his work is impeccable!! Will definitely hire again!! We have a couple of more jobs for him to do!!

This was a big deal.  Mitch was very flexible on dates.  He came once to give me a list of supplies.  I had difficulty finding what I needed, so he eventually picked some things up himself.  He was very quiet and neat.  My impression was that he is really an artist (he is a cabinet maker) so my job was not challenging for him.  I think he would do a great job on custom woodworking.  He is detail oriented and precise, always seemed to be thinking about the job he was doing.

Mitch was prompt on time.  Did an excellent job and cleaned up.  We can recommend him for similar jobs.rooms

It was very easy to arrange for an appointment to have the work done. To be sure the job was done properly he removed the doors and took them to his shop. When they were re-installed they work perfectly.
