New Phase Construction LLC

This was a VERY unfortunate and disappointing experience. The project exceeded the estimated schedule by 5+ weeks, New Phase worked short days and the quality of his work is sloppy, careless, unprofessional, and subpar. He is not meticulous about his work and the proof of that is in our bathroom. Screw heads are protruding through the drywall, the drywall is uneven, the grout lines are messy and smeared, there are missing tiles around the toilet, chipped tiles on the shower wall, the paint lines are-well,...there aren’t any, and the overall project looks unprofessional, unskilled, and amateur. We now have to hire another contractor to correct his myriad mistakes, which makes the overall cost of the remodel far more than we anticipated. Every time we enter the bathroom we see another mistake and flaw. We write this as very disgruntled and dissatisfied customers of New Phase. Let this review serve as a warning. We felt a moral obligation to write a truthful review so others do not fall prey to this clumsy workmanship.

Brandon's estimate was fair and competitive and delivered in a timely manner. He and Brandon arrived on schedule and completed all the work promptly and professionally.  When faced with some plumbing reconnect and cabinet trim surprises he found a way to work them out.  We have contacted him for an estimate on a second job.

Outstanding - Brandon Gatton and his assistant Ryan raised our bathroom counter top 5", replace all the outlets, caulked our shower and painted the entire bathroom and shower area. These were the services that we had contracted. We found other areas including hanging an entrance way chandelier from an 18 foot ceiling that they handled expertly all within the original time frame they had projected. They were both on-time, courteous, professional and great to work with on these projects. We will definitely contact New Phase for any future projects.

We have used New Phase Construction a few times over the past couple of years and have always been pleased with their service, price, and work.  They are always very polite and clean when they do their work.  We have had multiple projects done by New Phase including installing new siding on an entire side of the house, repairing rotting siding, fixing chimney leaks and painting an exteriior fence.  This past winter we had a leak on our chimney.  New Phase came out and made a repair.  In early spring we found that the leak had not totally been fixed.  We called New Phase back and they quickly came back and fixed the leak without any question.  They have been great to work with and would recommend their services.

Brandon had a busy schedule and I had a very short time frame to complete the work.  Brandon came out the morning of July 4 and completed the work.  He did an excellent job and the quality of the workmanship was very high.  I will definitely use Brandon again.

Went well and the finished job seems to be top quality. I felt very comfortable working with Brandon and his team and will use them again for other contracting needs.

We just bought a house that needed significant updates.  Brandon was referred by our realtor whom we absolutely trust, who said she uses him for her own house and that he was good with pretty much everything. We have never used a Handymen for our house needs in the past and weren't sure the quality and the limitation of the job that one handyman can do, and we are very precise and have high expectation for high quality work.  I have to admit that this was a high risk decision we took, especially for major construction involving putting up walls in a prominent and visible place in the Foyer.  We didn't want to see a result looking like some unexperienced person's Sunday project by DIY.
All that said, we are absolutely 100% delighted with the result!  It turned out to be precisely what we hoped for - a truly high quality, professional job that blends seamlessly into the original construction features.  Our realtor was the best thing we found since we moved to Indiana and Brandon is the second!
Brandon and his assistant are quiet and focused, and we really liked this.  Sometimes you hear horror stories of Handyman shows up, but then spend 1st hour just chatting.  Brandon is a "just get the job done" kind of person, focusing on the details of the job and what the homeowner expects the result to look like.  He is courteous,  trustworthy and dependable.  They also cleaned up very well after their job.
One fear I have writing a review like this is that he might become too busy now and won't be available for our future projects!

We used New Phase Construction in February to paint our house and fix some items to get ready for sale and we were thrilled with their service and professionalism.  When we received an inspection report with all kind of items to be repaired before we could close our house sale, Brandon and his crew were the first people we called for a fast turnaround.  They did not disappoint us - Brandon set us up in less than a week.  He responded to my call within 24 hours and we scheduled for a week later.  They were here bright and early (with a text that they were on the way) and spent the entire day fixing everything that needed fixing.  When rain prevented them from finishing outside, they told us they would be back to finish a few days later - and they were here exactly when they said they would be.  Everything was done to the best of standards and they cleaned up completely when they were done.  If we were not moving away, we would hire them every time we needed repairs to be done in our house.  They did a fabulous job and the cost was very reasonable!!

The crew arrived at specified time. After reviewing the scope of the job, they went about getting the correct supplies and tools and quickly worked at completing the tasks.

They were referred to me by a friend who is in real estate and I was surprised that they could fit me in but they did.  They are good, honest, hardworking people.  It was great quality work and very thorough. I would recommend them to anyone in need of any of these services.
