Description of Work: Claimed they could remediate/repair all the EFIS siding on my house. They even revised the estimate to include tearing off the chimney and rebuilding it because (they claimed) it was in such bad shape. I was told their work would bring the EFIS up to current code and that it would pass inspection. They include a 5 year warranty on their work. Remediation included tearing off sealant and re-sealing the windows and corners etc. They tore off whole sections of the siding to re-do it telling me most of it was put on wrong and not sealed correctly but they were going to make it all good so the house would pass inspection when we put it on the market. They took an extremely long time to do the work and left equipment lying around even after they finished. Then they claimed I didn't pay them their final payment and started sending letters asking me to pay thousands of dollars I didn't owe them. Only after I sent copies of the checks I had written and pointed out that THEY owed ME money because I had to hire someone else to repair a window they wouldn't do, they finally acknowledged that I was right and sent me a refund for the window work. Now, 8 months later, the house DID NOT pass inspection and they claim they never intended to work on the areas the inspector identified - the areas that didn't pass inspection are all over the house and include basic sealing and cracked EFIS in many, many parts of the house. And since they didn't remediate those areas, of course they claim their warranty doesn't apply. As far as I can tell, this company has no negative information or reviews to warn trusting homeowners. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and an attorney.

Description of Work: STUCCO ON OUR HOME NEEDED COMPLETE RESTORATION AS RECOMMENDED BY M&J STUCCO. M&J ASSURED THAT RESTORATION WOULD BE COMPLETED WITH NO DAMAGE AND HOME WOULD LOOK JUST LIKE IT DID WHEN RESTORATION STARTED.
