C R Landscaping

I called this vendor to schedule an initial meeting. He said he would call me back on Sunday afternoon to schedule a date. I wasn't opposed to this delay in scheduling since our schedule is quite busy and changes very last minute. He did not call on Sunday afternoon but did call on Monday evening and apologized for not calling on Sunday. We scheduled a meeting for him to come to our home on 7/22/2013 to discuss our landscaping needs. About a half hour before that appointment he called to say he was running behind on a current project and asked to move it to Thursday 7/24/2013. That was no problem for us so we rescheduled. He came to the house and we discussed our needs. We liked everything he said about what he envisioned for our landscaping. He agreed to put together a rough plan and estimate. Due to very recent experience with other providers being non-responsive, I asked for a specific date when we could agree to get the follow-up from him. We agreed upon 8/9/2013 as the date he would provide that. We did not receive any further follow-up from him. I sent him an email on 8/15/2013 asking when we would receive a follow-up and never got a response. I tried his phone number on 8/19/2013 but it went to voice mail. I left a voice mail message on 8/19/2013 and never received a return call. I tried again on 8/20/2013 and it went to voice mail again. This was truly disappointing because we were very excited about his ideas. He was the only one who seemed to get what we were saying as far as our challenges. I should have seen this coming when he missed calling us for scheduling the first time and then asked to reschedule the first appointment.
