I had a large dying silver maple cut down in my back yard in the spring and spent the summer trying to decide whether or not to replace it. I had been referred to BJ by Vine and Branch Landscaping the previous year when I was considering moving another tree, so I decided to call them for this project. Bill came out to look at the area where the tree would go. He was very thorough in explaining the options I had and we ultimately decided to remove the old stump and put the new tree in the same place. Bill told me about the different species of trees that would work well in the area and even told me where I could meet him to look at the trees he recommended. We chose and quot;theand quot; tree that we wanted and arranged to have it moved after the first heavy frost. In the meantime Bill and his crew came to my house, ground out the old stump and surrounding roots and prepared the hole for the tree. In early November they brought the tree out on a trailer, put it on a large dolly, wheeled it into place and put it in the ground. It took three of them because the tree had a three foot diameter root ball and was about twenty feet tall. I appreciated the care they took to avoid disturbing my property any more than necessary. The tree went in straight and everything was tidy when they left. I'm really looking forward to watching the tree leaf out in the spring. I would highly recommend this company and will more than likely be using them again in the future.
