We had several companies give us estimates. They were all FAR and ABOVE what Robert quoted us, by a SERIOUSLY wide margin. Also, we liked Robert as soon as we met him. Even before the miracle quote. And Robert saved us from having to hire 4 different companies to do what he could do ALL in one perfectly priced package.
Robert showed up bright and early the first day, as promised. The work was being done behind the house, and honestly I have NO idea what time he got there, because I wasn't awake. It's a very new experience to wake up and have everything you hate about your backyard gone. That was the best morning!
We have hired other contractors to do "random stuff" in our house, and they've really let us down one way or another. I told my husband this morning, (after dealing with our cabinet maker and staining people) "Why can't everyone just be Robert?"
Honestly, we have asked a LOT from Robert. He always comes through. Every SINGLE time. I have worried and freaked out and worried some more about the money, and the house.. But we always know we have Robert. And it makes me feel SO MUCH better. It sounds corny saying he's part of our family now, but he is. Since moving to this state, and meeting him, he has been so good to us. I will always ask him if he knows how to do a job before hiring anyone. He won't steer us wrong.
I had asked Robert for a lot, at first it was just for siding and windows (his primary profession). Being so pleased with his work, we started discussing other things I wanted to do with my house but did not really have the time. My conversations with Robert were very professional, but very personal also. He had made suggestions after I had told him what I wanted, and I agreed skeptically, but it all worked out great. I have the upmost confidence in R.T. Construction and would suggest him to anyone else (as a matter of fact I did, and they were very happy too). And I'm sure I will be calling on him again.
Robert was not only professional, but as he puts it; he put his "personal touch" into all the jobs he had done for me. His crew was very profeswsional and courteous also.
