MACH1 PC

An iPad was brought to them to replace its battery.It was sent to Indy to have this done.After the iPad owner picked it up they noticed something wrong with the home button so they took it back.This time when the iPad came back it had scratches on the screen.So Mach1 offered 2 options to the cust. for their satisfaction & said they were willing to hear a 3rd option.Each time an option was presented it was shot down.During this conversation with the owner we were accused of attacking him & cutting him down.I suggested an option that seemed fair,the owner didn't like that & then told me that since I wasn't the customer he would no longer converse w/ me & if I talked he'd ask me to leave & if I didn't leave he'd call the police & have me escorted out.I said ok & there'd be no need to have me escorted out because if asked to leave,I'd go.He then spoke to me & asked a question.When I went to respond,he cut me off & told me that he warned me not to talk & then told his son to call the police,which was not needed because I willingly left.When I said I was going to let people know how he ran his business,I was told that since he's known around town that no one would believe me & think that I'm the problem.After I left the owner told my companions that they better make sure I don't post any bad reviews,& if he saw one that he would involve his lawyers,to which my companion responded that that would cost money he wouldn't want to spend.The owner said it wouldn't bother him because he does work for said lawyers.I'll also note that I left a review on Mach1 PC's FB page,but now the feature to leave reviews is gone & subsequently all the reviews are gone as well.I'll be fair & say the owner & the customer came to an agreement.However I still felt the need to leave a review so that others will know that a product was brought to them & it came back twice in a worse condition both times.Also to threaten someone to not leave a bad review or you will involve your lawyers is unethical.

They ended up rearranging everything and we are now some files. We never were able to get the computer up and running. We were not very satisfied with our service. We had to take the computer to them and they had it for a couple weeks which seemed way to long for what they did. We had a similar service recently done remotely and it was very fast. They actually did it while we watched. Mac One needs to work on their communication.

When I confronted the large man at the desk about this, he got angry and verbally reproached me for fixing my own problem. He suggested that I should have continued to bring it in indefinitely until the problem had been solved, as if I was paying him to do trial and error or repeatedly do a simple system restore.
WARNING: Do not go to Mach1PC in Shelbyville, Indiana. They told my mom her PC was beyond repair, "took it off her hands" and then put it on their sales floor a few days later. The large man who is usually working behind the desk is highly unprofessional, condescending, and has many of the telltale signs of a conman, including an insistence that you should trust him. He will talk circles around you, but if you look at his actions, you'll see that he's treating you like a mark.

Everything went well. I have been in the store multiple times. They have always been friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing computer work done.
