JIM'S ROOFING & SONS

These guys just replaced my roofs on the garage and house. They did a fabulous job!! They are very professional and were prompt and just great guys to work with. Very reasonable prices and very easy to do business with on this insurance claim. Great guys to boot. I highly recommend them. Mark Redmond

Our agreement was a verbal agreement, unfortunately.  You see I had known Jim for many years and he had done excellent work for me before.  After his crew, mostly his sons, were done and I paid him the $6000.00.  Then a leak appeared in the bedroom.  I investigated and found cut marks in a section of rubber roof, that were not there before.  Also I found 3 other sections of roof that had not been reroofed.  I called Jim and was told  that he would give me a price for finishing the roof.  I argued that my understanding was that the $6000.00 was for all of the rest of the roof.  His answer was that materials had gone up in cost.  I consulted with my attorney and he advised writing a letter which I did.  I was called by Jim's son and promised that the roof would be taken care of.  They did come out and do work in Oct. or Nov of 2010.  However due to surgery I was unable to get onto the roof to check out the work.  In the spring of 2011 I found that they only did 3 of the 4 areas and with a poor job.  I did not want to trust or deal with them any more so in Summer of 2011 I had another contractor finish the last area and am keeping watch on the poor jobs that they did on the other sections.  I have repaired and painted the bedroom ceiling myself.

They did a fantastic job. They cleaned up after everything and the roof they put on is supposed to last the rest of my life. It is a good quality product. You can't beat them. The workers worked; they came and did the job and left. I may have gotten the job cheaper but I don't think I would have gotten the quality. I will use them again in the future.
