 + -1 moreMy husband and I wanted some artwork painted in our daughter's nursery based on two outfits we had bought for her to wear as a newborn. We had difficulty finding someone who did this kind of work. We called Teresa and she came out within a week to discuss the design we wanted and we set up a date for her to paint. I showed her the outfits that had the kinds of birds and butterflies we wanted and discussed colors etc. We paid for half of the work up front. I was very nervous about how it would turn out, I knew I had a picture in my mind of what I wanted it to look like but was unsure if she could make it happen. Teresa came out to do the work and completed it in one day. IT IS BEAUTIFUL! I could not have asked for anything more. It is better than what I had imagined in my own mind. The work was expensive, but I now feel it was worth every penny! Everything was HAND painted, no stencils etc.
Description of Work: Teresa painted a border in our daughter's nursery as well as her name over her crib.

She also came to my house with pictures and all sorts of ideas so we could go through everything together. Very pleasant to work with.

 + -1 moreTeresa came to my home, and I pretty much let her run free in giving me ideas and suggestions. She took the time to get to know a little about me so that her work was more personalized. She then let me pick out the ideas and suggestions I liked and was careful to consider my own input. I am single and travel a lot, so I was never home while she worked in my house over a two week period. The work was incredible. She has given my home a very tasteful ''wow'' effect that is admired by everyone that has seen it. Teresa is a former art teacher who has taken her talent to a new level. Schedule early because I honestly believe this artisan will be highly sought after. She is kind of expensive but worth every penny!
Description of Work: Teresa hand painted a vineyard mural, a stone wall effect, garden tub vine and stone effect, picture blocking, a fireplace, and faux texture living room walls.

 + -1 moreTeresa was great from the beginning to the end. We were very comfortable with her being in our home. Our children also liked it when she came to work. She checked in with us numerous of times to make sure that we were happy with her work. We asked her to change the color of the sand that was painted on our bathroom wall and she did so the next day. Teresa really strives to satisfy your expectations and in our case she exceeded them. Our house is more relaxing and enjoyable since it Teresa worked on it. Teresa really has to be one of the best artistic painters in this area!
Description of Work: Faux finish on the walls in the kitchen, breakfast nook, hallway and master bedroom. Sea grass and beach theme in the master bath and a swamp theme (frogs, bugs, dragon flies...) in the childrens' bath.

She listened intently for our basic ideas and she conceived the end product solely on her own which far exceeded our expectations. Her creativity and artistic abilities are phenominal and she does this so naturally. She was always so professional yet treated you like you were her best friend. She was always punctual, called often prior to the project and made sure she contacted us at the end of the day if we couldn't be there when she worked. We entrusted her to our home in our absence without concerns or worries. Her fee's are commiserate with her work and her product is the best. She is truely a gifted professional and an individual who leaves you wanting her to come back for more - so we did!!
Description of Work: Teresa was located from Angies List as we were searching for an artist to transform a laundry room into the outdoors. The one absolute was to incorporate a portrait of our pomeranian into the work. Teresa started by painting tall weeds/grass shooting up from baseboards all around the room. She then painted a sky along top half of the walls and then painted a trellis which encircled the walls just short of where it meets the ceiling. She then painted vines encircling the trellis around the room. She then incorporated several beautiful birds sitting on the trellis. Last, she used the wall we face as we exit into the garage to painte a wooden sign which dangled from the trellis with rope which said ''poms are precious''. Below the sign in the grass, she painted our pom sitting up facing us with a huge smile. She completed the project by subtlely painting our dogs name in the weeds which blended in but was clearly visible. PERFECT!!

It turned out to be just what my Son wanted, Cool! I then had her faux paint a bathroom. I am thrilled with the results. It is so much better than I imagined.

Description of Work: Teresa faux finished 4 rooms, hallway and entryway. She also did 5 Murals. We were looking for a personal touch and gave Teresa personal photos to work with. One of the murals is a window overlooking the mountains with a small church and a rooster in the window sill. Walking in to see her work at the end of the day was very exciting since she included surprises in every mural like hidden initials and hearts in the mural in the master bathroom.

Description of Work: A FLORAL DESIGN WITH STEM WAS PUT ON A WALL AT THE END OF THE HALLWAY. THIS DESIGN IS THE SAME HEIGHT AS THE DOORWAY. A FAUX FINISH WAS PUT ON ONE WALL IN THE MAIN LIVING ROOM. A FAUX FINISH WAS ALSO PUT ON A FLOOR TO CEILING CUSTOM BOOKCASE. ADDITIONAL ARTWORK OF A SCROLL BRANCH TYPE VINE WITH FLOWERS WAS PAINTED ON TOP OF THE FAUX FINISH ON THE BOOKCASE. THIS WORK TOOK 2 DAYS. EVERYTHING WAS NEAT AND CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS. ARRANGEMENTS WERE MADE IN ADVANCEMENT WITH TERESA TO ENTER OUR HOME. I ACTUALLY DID NOT SEE TERESA ON DURING THE 2 DAYS IT TOOK FOR HER TO COMPLETE THE ARTWORK. SHE LEFT WRITTEN MESSAGES FOR ME AND FOLLOWED UP WITH PHONE CALLS. TERESA IS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH AND HELPS YOU CHOOSE WHAT IS BEST FOR YOUR TASTE AND YOUR HOME. I LOVE MY ARTWORK.
