The roof part of the project was completed first during the last week of January 2017. I had one occurrence in February and another in March in which some shingles blew loose because the temperature hadn’t been high enough yet to really seal the roof. In less than 24 hrs of reporting each occurrence to Shane he had someone on my roof repairing the loose shingles. During the next part of the project the siding company’s contractors damaged the drip edge around the roof. They tried to send their own roofing crew back to replace the drip edge but their workmanship was blatantly subpar compared to what Shane’s crew had done originally. Shane hung in there with us throughout the project and was very patient as we waited for a break in the rain to get the newly installed boards painted. This wasn’t the type of repair work that Shane’s guys were used to doing but they did an outstanding job repairing the drip edge and when they were done it looked fantastic. I wasn’t so sure about going with the contrasting black drip edge against white fascia at first when Shane suggested it but I am glad I did because it really looks great paired with the charcoal shingles. Shane absolutely cares about the quality of each and every job and stands behind his workmanship warranty and the warranty provided by GAF. I almost forgot to mention that after his crew finished the roof project they were amazing at cleaning up. I didn’t watch them but they must’ve spent hours because we never even found a single nail anywhere around the house. I would absolutely recommend Shane Pickens to anyone needing a roof replaced on their house. He will make sure it is done right and looks great too.

Shane Pickens is a professional businessman. He is polite and goes out of his way to please the customer. The crew that works for him are all hard working men who would be welcome at my home any time. They showed up early Friday morning, the 2nd of May and started tearing off my roof. Once they got the roof off, they saw that my deck was not worth putting a roof on. They showed me photos and I agreed. Shane sent the photos and quote for the added expenses to my insurance company. The crew worked eleven hours Friday and nine hours Saturday. They finished the job Monday after a few more hours and completely cleaning up all the debris. Even with the unexpected replacement of the deck, the job was done in a short span of time and I didn't have to deal with my insurance company thanks to Shane. Shane's experience and certification are excellent. The GAF system 50 year warranty is far better than most others.

The provider was very professional. While obtaining estimates, he was the only one that patched a small obvious leak next to our chimney to avoid any damage before we made a decision, and at no charge. He even took a picture and showed us the area in question. His crew arrived and immediately went to work. They took only minimal breaks and cleaned up at the end of the day. Mr. Pickens came by after the roof was completed to make a final inspection and to make sure we were happy with the results. We have had a number of people comment about the attractiveness of the roof. Other than some minimal sweeping on our part, all debris and nails were cleaned up by the work crew. I would recommend this company to anyone in the market for a new roof.

Very well. They were prompt, efficient,clean personable and answered any questions we had. A couple of minor cosmetic issues were handled immediately. Wish all contractors were this professional.

My experience with them was great. I didn’t find them on Angie’s List. We called them to come out and do an estimate. They were approximately half the cost of all the other companies we called. They cleaned up and did everything. They were exceptional. Their cost was the number one reason we hired them. They were very professional. They clean everything up in your home. They left it just the way they found it except for the new roof. When they installed the skylights, the roofer didn’t write the cost of one of them and he installed it for free. He didn’t know that we had an extra skylight when he gave us the estimate because he didn’t look at the back of the house. He just walked through in the front of it. We called like 5 companies to give us estimates and Shane Pickens Roofing was almost half the cost of all the other companies. The price was $4400 for a 1500 square foot roof with 3 skylights. They were really good and I was impressed. They are a small time company.

They were very clean. Concerned with "green issue" using appropriate materials. When they left, we had no personal clean-up to do - old roof gone - new roof in place - yard looked great.
