They completely removed the old grass and re-seeded it. And it looks gorgeous, people passing really appreciate it nicely and some people would even stop and ask who did my lawn, and inquire the contact information so they can call them for lawn services. We have used them at times for lawn maintenance and care services. And then we had them redo same service for our Backyard Lawn, and its coming in nicely, it really looking good. I highly recommend them, I have actually recommended them already to other people.

Uneventful. Applications were done as expected monthly

Recently had a disease in my yard as well as sage grass growing in the main part of my front yard. List came and aerated and treated the sage now the grass is doing great.

They do an excellent job. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Tom List is the owner. He sends out an annual newsletter to all his clients explaining how the weather has affected lawns the current year and what kind of problems they are encountering. He suggests services they can do to correct these problems beyond the standard applications and lists the prices for each service.

We pay him only for our front yard, but since it is small, he applies the same treatments to our backyard for free.

The first job we hired him for, maybe in 2009, was to reseed the front yard. He plowed up the entire yard (carefully avoiding our newly planted perennial borders), leveled it, and seeded it. He charged $300. The grass that grew was a beautiful green carpet. Our yard had never looked so good.

Then I believe it was a couple months later that he put the first application of either weed killer or fertilizer on it, and within a couple days the whole yard was brown. We called him, and he came out right away and inspected it. Within a couple minutes, he admitted that it definitely was his fault. He said that he had gotten a new line of products that he believed was better, but apparently that's what killed the lawn. So he said he would reseed the lawn again at no cost to us.

So he dug up the yard again, leveled, and reseeded, the beautiful grass grew back, and we've never had a problem with it since.

The way he responded to his mistake was what impressed me so much about this company. I have been a loyal customer ever since. Mistakes do happen in the course of business, and how a company responds to them , to me, is a mark of the quality of the company.

Our next door neighbor liked our yard so much that she hired him also to do her yard. I would highly recommend List Lawn Care. He was recommended to us by our landscape designer, and I gladly pass on the recommendation.

Tom List came, measured my lawn and provided needed weed control application. We agreed to regular applications as needed during the year. Tom knows a lot about types of weeds and how to kill out the ones choking your lawn.

His name is Tom List. He doesn't actually mow lawns or do lawn care; he does chemicals and fertilizer, like TruGreen or somebody like that. I prepay $250 a year for 5 service visits as I get a discount if I prepay. I have used him for several years and I know a lot of people that do. He is reliable, shows up when he is supposed to and gives you the information. He also does aeration and does quality work.

I remember the owner graduated from Purdue and so had I, so that was a plus. I liked the idea of using a small, local business. I think he had a degree in turf science. His price was competitive but I don't remember shopping around. They set their own schedule. The only reason we quit using them was because we moved out of the area.

They come on a timely manner get the job done, and leave a notice in my door so I will know they have completed their scheduled services. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good dependable lawn service.
