I met with Todd of Taecon to assess some water damage at my home and to provides an estimate on building a garage.  Todd was polite, professional and punctual through the entire process.  I did not have the garage built but used Taecon to repair the water damage and to place hardwood flooring.  I will definitely use him again and won't hesitate referring him to friends and family.

Todd was wonderful to work with. He and his subcontractors worked well together and really listened to what we wanted in our remodel. The work was done in a timely manner and we are quite pleased with the results. We would recommend Taecon to others and will most likely call on them for our next project.

This was the largest remodel / upgrade we had ever undertaken. The first steps involved getting rid of the old. There was a small wet-bar and countertop that was completely removed and it's sink and drain cut off. Dry wall surrounding this area had to be replaced. Todd was able to keep the bar and top mostly intact and he installed it in our garage to act as my workbench. Very handy! About 1600 sq' of carpeting was removed including pad. This work was done with minimum noise and left over trash. Todd and his contractors did a very good job of policing the site throughout the 5 week process removing all trash daily or as needed. Walls were repaired as necessary and then the complete basement was repainted. It took multiple coats to cover the exiting coverings, but the painters were complete with this phase in a couple of days - stairwell included. They came back toward the end of the project to do final touch up work. A new laundry room was added including a laundry shoot from the master bedroom. This replaced a utility sink which was relocated to another part of the basement. The upstairs laundry was not disabled, but we intend to use the downstairs more often since we were able to make it much bigger than the one that came with the house. Cabinets and counter tops were next. Although they came in on time, they were a couple of end pieces missing that had to be ordered. The vast majority of the cabinets and all of the countertops were installed next. This vendor again returned to finish his work once the required end caps came in. Plumbing was run to appliances and kitchen sink. Then the new appliances were delivered and installed. Next came the significant floor work that we were looking to put in. Without going into technical details, we worked with Simply Concrete to install an amazing stained concrete floor. They created a tiled kitchen, cobblestone in the den and office areas and a mild earth tone over the remaining 1000 sq' covered. They did a remarkable job that really must be seen to be appreciated. Once the floor was completed, the final floor molding was installed and the painters came back to paint the molding and do any other needed touch ups. The gentleman who did the tiles for the kitchen splash guard came in last and finished his work over a couple of trips. All in all, we could not be happier. Ten or more different people worked on the project at different times and we had only one relationship to worry about - and that was with Todd. He was very responsive to questions, emails and even the occasional text (I am still apologizing for the early AM text one morning when I just happened to be up early. Todd was good natured about receiving such a non emergency early text.). We used Todd on a much smaller project several years ago and were pleased with his work then. We would use Taecon again in the future without hesitation. Todd makes managing the project and all the related anxieties work out to everyone's satisfaction. This project was well done, well managed and came in with in budget.

They are fabulous. They are also here now remodeling our entire basement. I love the fact that they were very professional and showed up when they said they were going to. Every person was polite the entire time they were doing work. They made sure we were happy with every piece of work before they were finished. They came back and redid a couple of things. They also cleaned up well.

Installed and vented a fan for the bathroom. Arrived on time. Despite discussion during estimate phase his employee indicated that he'd be venting out the soffit. I told him that I wanted it vented properly & had to call owner directly.  Stated  that it would cost more to do it the way I wanted. I asked how much more. He never gave direct answer,  simply sent over another employee to complete the job as I requested.  I was charged for the amount on the original estimate & the owner did state when I paid him that from now on he'll need to put all the details on the estimate.

The owner's name is Todd Ebling.  He is very knowledgeable.  He is really prompt as far as coming out to take a look at everything, and he does a quick work.  He is very thorough, and cleaned up after himself, which was nice.  They were really good.  If I plan to remodel interior of my house, then I will call him.
