It went real well and he used a jackhammer in my basement to break up the concrete to put the new pit in. The only negative thing I would say is when he filled in the concrete around it, he didn't do a real good job of smoothing out the concrete otherwise, he adjusted the pumps the way I wanted him to and he cleaned up the mess.

It went terrible. The plumber replaced a working sump pump that he himself had replaced only 2-years prior. I questioned him as to weather he was certain the pump was the problem and he assured me it was. That very evening we had severe rain and my basement completely flooded. I found that the problem was a blocked drain line, not a defective pump. When I questioned St. John plumbing about the repair, they said they would look into it and get back to me. hey never got back to me despite numerous calls. Months after the repair, I called them on a whim and they could not have treated me any more poorly. I am in the process of filing a suit in small claims court to try to recover my payment. They are an awful provider that does not no the first thing about customer service. avoid St. John plumbing at all costs - they are truly unscrupulous people.

We did not provide work at this location so this is not an accurate review of ST JOHN PLUMBING. We are the original St John Plumbing that has been in business since 1981 and I can assure you we do not handle business this way."

When I called for an estimate the first question was "how many other estimates have you had?". The guy was rude and disinterested, and after i explained the details of the job, said "no thanks" and hung up. I am a contractor and would never treat a potential customer that way, very unprofessional.

As a professional contractor for the last 30 years, we take all inquiries seriously, However, I am not sure that just because we pass on an opportunity does not mean we are unprofessional, it just means at the current time we do not want to pursue this opportunity. They came out twice already and I had a good experience with them. They check the line going out to the street to make sure there was no clogged up out there as far as tree roots and stuff like that. We had to have someone come back in this year and go through that line again to make sure there was no problem. The last time we used them we're not satisfied with the guy you came because the guy who came a year prior did all the job he tunneled from the existing drain from our basement that goes all the way out to the front storm drain and we got a certain charge for that which was fine. The the next year when we needed to have it done again it was a different person that came out and he round up tunneling it so far and then when we said that he's gonna use more line than that because he haven't made it all the way down to the street yet and he kind of huff. He charged more money to bring in another stick to hook it up and go down to the road. He charge us more money for the extra line.

The bottom floor unit of our condo building reported water on their ceiling. We called St. John Plumbing and they were there the next day. Jeff quickly identified the problem, he sealed off everything so no debris or water could spread and then went about repairing the leak.
The work was completed within a couple of hours and the unit owners below even commented about the professionalism.

The job went well. The service and clean up were good. They came on time, and they finished the job in the time they said they would. They are good to use.
