Overall, we were very happy.

It was a wonderful experience.  I met with the designer at their facility.  We met three or four times.  He helped me decide what to use, and then we purchased the materials from them.  The designer was very patient with us and helped us decide on the vanity, granite countertop, toilets, and even the hardware.  I was so pleased with the service we are using them again for another remodeling job.  I would highly recommend this company!

They didn't install anything, but they provided me with a list of installers. They were very knowledgeable and helped me locate what I was looking for. They got the merchandise that I needed on time and had good customer service. I liked the quality of their sales person.

The design consultant (Tracy) provided kitchen design and cabinet selection for us as well as access to the sub-contractor (Prestige Custom Stone) who provided the countertops.
She also recommended the carpenter (New Beginnings Remodeling) who installed the cabinets.

The people at Schillings were very professional from helping to select the specific countertop I wanted to the measuring and in installation. The quality of customer service and quality of work was top notch, and I highly recommend them.

Unbelievable service and great prices!  Before my experience, I thought Schilling Bros. Lumber would have "premium" prices on home remodeling items - wow, was I wrong.  This remodel was going to be quite extensive and expensive so I really shopped around to get the lowest prices possible.  I was able to get higher quality items (such as the Italian ceramic tile) at a lower price than I could at a "big box" home improvement store.

And the service - spectacular.  Every individual I dealt with for each purchase was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and offered valuable input and advice.  I am what I consider to be "design challenged" and in addition, somewhat color blind.  The staff at Schilling Bros. were always happy to provide design assistance and helped me make fabulous choices!!  I can't thank them enough.  I know they helped me avoid a couple of "design disasters".  I'd like to specifically mention Derek Pritchett (in flooring) and A. J. Szamatowicz (Kitchen Senior Designer).

Derek was wonderful.  I needed quite a lot of tile.  He had to locate every possible box that Schilling's had (at the various locations) to complete my order.  He assured me that he reserved every box that was in stock and they were delivered two days later.  I'd like to also point out that not one tile was damaged out of the 40 or so boxes that were delivered.  Even the delivery people take every care to ensure customer satisfaction.

I'm going to write a letter of commendation for A.J. to the owners of Schilling's.  Her advice and design skills made my kitchen remodel SPECTACULAR!  I couldn't have done it without her.  She made the process so easy as well.  I was overwhelmed by all the choices and decisions that had to be made.  She was patient, willing to walk me through each decision necessary as we worked through the design.  She is very efficient and detail oriented but most of all she is a genuinely nice person.  

I would recommend Schilling Bros. Lumber to anyone looking to do home improvements.  I know they've earned my business from this point forward.

Schillings designed my custom kitchen. Greg Schilling met with us, listened to what we wanted and designed a terrific custom kitchen from scratch. He personally came to the house to measure the space, to check that his design would work and to give us additional suggestions. We made some modifications at the job-site with Mr. Schilling and placed the order. The installation went great. Mr. Schilling spoke with my installer several times to make sure he understood his design and that there wouldn't be any issues. He also made sure that the kitchen sink window was placed correctly - so that the center of the faucet would be in line with the middle of the window. The project basically went flawlessly - thanks to Greg. I felt like he really took an interest in our kitchen.
