First the A/C unit turned off automatically because too much coolant had been put on and the pressure rose so much the factory preset overload switch activated.
Second when it was time for heat to come on the auxillary heat would cause the circuit breaker to trip. So Beard came out and said the breaker was bad, but instead of replacing the tripped one he replaced another and now other electrical stuff in the house doesn't work, but the heat pump/auxillary heat seems to work. So now after one email and at least a half dozen calls, he does not respond. Also the air handler was put in the attic, so he cut the ceiling out of one of my closets where there had been a small access door (to get the air handler up there) and and replaced it with a couple of boards with a piece of drywall laying on top of them. Considering legal action at this point.

After 3 weeks of trying to get them to fix the boiler, I finally got ahold of Terry and he said he couldn't figure it out or fix it and to call someone else. I contacted another company. They came out and easily diagnosed the problem as a gas valve control and ignition control (just replace a month earlier) that had both shorted from water damage. Because the negligence of the technician for failing to secure this crude gutter that they recommended (he had 2 opportunities to do this, but he did not do it until I called them back for the last problem and pointed it out to them), when the gutter fell down, it directed the water from the leak back into the controls that caused the damage. To replace these two components will cost around $700 in parts and labor. I discussed the other company's findings with Terry and gave him the opportunity to make it right and cover the repairs under warranty. He denied any responsibility for damages, this was after leaving us with no heat for 3 weeks.

"I DID DO THE WORK THE MEMBER SAID THAT I DID, BUT IN A LITTLE DIFFERENT WAY THAN HE SAID WE DID... I WENT OUT TO HIS HOUSE ON CHRISTMAS DAY BECAUSE HE HAD A PROBLEM WITH HIS HEAT NOT WORKING. THE HOLE PROBLEM STARTED WITH THE LEAKING PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE, I TOLD HIM THAT IT NEEDED FIXED OR HE WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM AGAIN, HE THEN WENT ON TO SAY THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY OR TIME TO HAVE IT FIXED AND ASK WHAT OPTIONS THERE WERE. THAT IS WHEN WE CAME UP WITH DIVERTING THE WATER A DIFFERENT WAY SO IT WOULD GET ON THE CONTROLS. AN I TOLD HIM THAT IT WOULD NOT FIX OR PROTECT HIM A 100% FROM IT HAPPENING AGAIN... THE PROBLEM WITH THAT IS THE LEAK GOT WORSE AND WENT AROUND AND OVER WHAT WE HAD TO DIVERT THE WATER... AND HIS PROBLEM CAME RIGHT BACK JUST LIKE I TOLD HIM IT WOULD... HE THEN CALLED ME BACK AND I SEEN WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND I THEN TOLD HIM THAT THE WATER LEAK NEEDED TO BE FIX RIGHT AWAY AND WE COULD NOT COVER ANYTHING UNDER WARRANTY ON ELECTRICAL PARTS OVER WHAT HAPPENED, HE WENT ON TO SAY THAT I SHOULD HAVE FIXED THAT LEAK BEFORE FIXING IT THE FIRST TIME "REMEMBER THAT HE TOLD ME NOT TO BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY OR TIME THE FIRST TIME WE WENT OUT THERE" I TOLD HIM THAT I COULDN'T DO THAT BECAUSE IT WAS HIS NEGLECT FOR NOT HAVING US FIX IT ON THE ORIGINAL SERVICE CALL... HE THEN WENT ON TO THREATEN TO SUE ME AND OTHER OPTIONS THAT IS WHEN I JUST CUT OFF ALL CONTACT WITH THE MEMBER AND CONTACTED MY LAWYER WITH THE PROBLEM... I DO STAND BEHIND MY WORK AND WE DO OUR JOB VERY WELL... IN MY EYES THE MEMBER WAS TRYING TO GET SOMETHING DONE FOR FREE AND HE NEW IT WAS HIS MISTAKE FROM THE BEGINNING..."
