Description of Work: This was easy money a fire job through state Farm our insurance company. We've tried every year to have them correct the mistake same they made on our siding, counteracts, and Windows just to name a few.

Description of Work: We had a house fire on May 17, 2011. Fortunately, three wonderful volunteer fire departments extinguished the fire before structural damage set in. However, the first floor was filled with smoke and soot. Indiana Farmers Mutual insurance allowed us to choose a smoke damage clean-up firm. I had seen ServPro's TV commercials that promise their clean-up service returns your home to "like it never even happened." Much to my surprise, that is exactly what the professionals of ServPro of Richmond did! Their careful, caring, thorough cleaning of our home restored it to perfect condition in about a month! They took appliances, lamps, fans APART and cleaned them with Q-Tips! They cleaned al the walls, carpets, drapes and every piece of furniture with the greatest of care. The team of six arrived promptly, worked diligently all day and cleaned up after themselves every time. They also provided comfort and assurance that everything would be O.K. My only concern was the $18,000 cost of this clean-up. Honestly, if we didn't have such a great homeowners insurance company... and a policy that paid all but the $500 deductible, I might have done much of the work myself. Pretty pricey. But, highly professional. I recommend ServPro of Richmond to anyone with a great insurance policy.
