While Rich Hobson was friendly and himself responsive, his team failed to use common courtesy with regards to work. On one of the 3 days that I was required to be available, the electrician on Hill’s team showed up for a single hour before departing with the job unfinished (a job quoted for one days work in total). Hill’s team did not follow their own proposal, which requires that the job not exceed a certain amount and required written consent for additional charges. None of their own written policies were followed. I will pay this bill in full because I believe the price is fair, but their practices weren’t followed and their team showed a lack of professionalism. The attached image shows a response from the owner containing (highlighted) simply inaccurate statements. There was no documentation on hourly rate cost. There was only documentation EXPLICITLY stating that they would NOT exceed the budget without written consent, which they never requested and were never given.

Very well, Extension to the existing line had to be run through attic and down interior wall to wall opposite existing outlet. Tech explained what he was doing as work progressed.

Steve Hill was always professional and responsive.  He did what he said he was going to do in the time period he said he would do it and charged the agreed upon price.  That is what we all want from our contractors.

I called him on the telephone. They were very professional, very polite; they did exactly what they said they would do. They were on time and everything. He had a small problem once they got done but they came back and fixed it up. I will use them in the future.
