Excellent! Jeremy takes great pride in his work. Took great pains to make sure the installation went well and talked through details and any concerns. Worked with us on our schedule. Would definitely hire again and highly recommend!

The back splash looks great as the work is to a very exacting quality. He communicated with us throughout the installation to make sure we knew and approved of all installation options. The finished product looks so good. Would definitely hire again. He doesn't make his money off tile sales so you can get them from anywhere and he shares his discount at a variety of tile stores.

Very well. The result looked great. He had some good ideas about the project and consulted us every step of the way. He was on time and always let us know ahead of time when he would arrive. He was very detail oriented and you could tell he took pride in his work.

They did a excellent job! There was a little mix up at the start since I was expecting Jeremy to be doing the work but another person showed up for the estimate and to do the work. Jeremy never told me that his regular tile installer would be the one doing the work. I was told where to pick out the tile but I was not told who would be paying for the materials. Once I found out how to proceed with payment and the job was finished, I was very pleased with the final look.

We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of their work. Jeremy and Ryan started by taping plastic barriers to the rest of the house to limit dust spreading through the home (which worked well.) They then installed cement board carefully and then the tile floors. They laid the tile down in an intricate pattern after taking time to demonstrate what different patterns would look like. Everything about the new flooring is beautiful. The transitions to the connecting rooms are great. They installed new moulding around the cabinet kickplates that looks like it should have always been there. The tile backsplash they installed above our new countertops couldn't possibly look better. The detailing of the backsplash was superb. They were always friendly and clean. It's obvious that the quality of their work was very important to them. Note: the price below includes that price of the tile, for which Jeremy got a good discount.

Jeremy and his crew were professional and completed the work on-time. The backsplash adds to the finished look of our kitchen and will last for years.

Jeremy was recommended by a friend years ago. His price was competitive. He purchased and picked up the tile from our vendor. Once installation of a custom-blended glass tile accent began, we had concerns about quality. The backing created for the panel was not even, and the tile was slumping down the wall. We brought this to his attention and he denied that it was substandard. He stated that he does not install this product (Oceanside Glass) anymore due to previous difficulties with installation; he never mentioned this previously and had paid for and picked up the product himself. When we asked for a resolution, he became angry and said it was the best his worker could do and if we didn't like it, we could find someone else to finish the job. This proved difficult, as the pan he built failed a leak test (required by all the subsequent contractors we interviewed). Other quality issues mentioned were curbs placed flat or sloping outward (instead of inward), lack of waterproofing on the walls, and the aforementioned issues with the decorative panel. One contractor asked if we had tried to take on the installation ourselves. I've emailed Jeremy twice to discuss a refund for the tile that had to be replaced and the advance on labor, but have received no reply.
Response from JEREMY KEENAN TILE
"Thank you for the opportunity to respond. We received this referral though a previous customer. (member name removed) called us herself for a tile estimate. We submitted a proposal for (member name removed)'s tile project on 2/3/16. Our follow up email to (member name removed) welcomed her to use our discount a Louisville Tile (20+%). (member name removed) accepted our tile work proposal on 2/23/16 via email, took the opportunity to receive the discount and indicated "our tile supplier is Michele Alcock at Louisville Tile. We will make final tile choices this week and then ask if you'll place the tile order! We believe the product will take 4-5 weeks to arrive, but Michele can clarify once we place the order." (member name removed) made an advance payment on 3/2/16 = $597.48 (to pay toward a tile purchase in order to receive the tile discount). We first laid the shower pan. In addition to that we set 75% of the shower tile as well. (member name removed) did not like the way the 1/8 inch tile lined up with the 1/2 inch tile of the waterfall pattern she chose. 2 of our contractors, Ray & Tyler were in her home working on the job when (member name removed) let them know she didn't like the tile pattern and asked them to leave her home. That evening, the owner, Jeremy called (member name removed) and discussed her concern. At that time, Jeremy again let her know that tile is different in size and it would be difficult to change the look due to the different sized tile. After this discussion, (member name removed) said she understood and was agreeable for the project to continue. The next day, Jeremy again sent the contractors back to her home to work on the project. (member name removed) again let them know she wasn't happy with it and told them to leave. She then called Jeremy and when he explained once more they couldn't change the look due to the tile size being different; she let him know that after speaking with her husband they thought they should go with a different provider. By the end of the call we were in agreement that Jeremy Keenan Tiling wouldn't finish the project at her request. With that being said, the project was incomplete. The shower pan had not been waterproofed. We actually finished almost the entire project. We paid labor to 2 full time workers for an entire week. Although all the expenses of the project were not covered, no additional payments were requested from (member name removed). 2 weeks later - Jeremy was contacted to ask how the "new tile guys" finished the project. Jeremy let them know that the shower pan had not been sealed with waterproofing and they would need to complete that step of the project. It is our understanding that the entire project was removed before Jeremy or anyone else could assess any concerns. We are very sorry for any problem (member name removed) has with the work that was completed. We feel like we made all attempts to advise her on a better tile combination as well as resolve all of her concerns. We kept her and her new provider well informed of what needed to be completed. We take great pride in the quality of work we give. our comments/grade/reviews for the last 17 years have been very favorable and show quite an opposite picture of the satisfaction with the projects we've completed. For all our customers, we offer ongoing opportunities to change preferences, educate proactively on materials and what they can expect from different tile choices. We would happily return as many times as necessary to change the project until the customer is satisfied. In this case, (member name removed) instead wanted to go with a different provider. Thank you."

Jeremy and Ryan did a great job on my kitchen backsplash and master bath tile.  They were very helpful and courteous.  So glad they did the work.  I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We had some problems at the start because I did not have the shower base properly installed upon his arrival.  But Jeremy worked with me by doing what he could on the first day and then returning a couple of days later when I had the shower base re-installed correctly and by scheduling his other jobs to fit in around mine so we still got done only a few days behind the originally scheduled finish date.  I am grateful for him doing this, as we needed the bathroom done before my mother-in-law was to move in and could only use this first floor bathroom.  He did all he could to help us with this urgent need and it ended up working out.  All the while, he was always professional and polite, even though we obviously caused him a lot of headaches in that timeframe with his schedule.  Thanks, Jeremy!  It looks terrific and my mother-in-law and my wife love it!.

My wife and I recently used Jeremy Keenan Tile to tile our kitchen backsplash. We couldn?t be happier with how beautiful it turned out. Jeremy, and his associate, Ryan, are truly skilled at their craft and are extremely committed to providing quality workmanship and excellent customer service. They were always on time, very respectful of our personal property, and extremely polite and responsive regarding our needs and expectations. We certainly would recommend that you consider Jeremy and Ryan for any of your tiling needs.

We had contacted three installers and of the three his price for the installation was mid-range.  He was professional sent us a written proposal by e-mail and when he came to estimate the job he measured and answered all our questions.  He also took plenty of time to study the job because I was undecided in one particular area where the tile should go but he gave me some good options.  The first day he and his partner came and installed the tile, both worked very carefully without more mess than necessary and were also careful in covering surfaces and flooring where they worked.  He told me to feel free in letting them know if there was anything I saw I didn't like.  The second day Jeremy came alone to grout, calk and clean up.  He was also helpful with information and advice about sealing and cover plates.  He was responsive and did everything he said he would do and it was important to him that we were happy with the job.

From start to finish Jeremy set me at ease that this project could be done and would give the results I was hoping for, and the results are actually better than I had hoped for.  Jeremy is prompt and returned my call very quickly, arranged to come to my home for an estimate, he is punctual, courteous, professional and is amazing at tile laying!  He was there for me every step of the way through ordering the tile, helping arrange the delivery and even loading the tile into the garage.  He and his assistant were simply amazing in their attack of this big project and the end result is worth every penny!!!!!!  When I decide to attack the other tiling projects in our home Jeremy is the man we will go to!  Recommend him very highly!

Jeremy was great from start to finish.  His bid was the highest we had: but we felt like our connection with his personality / vision for the project was a good fit and felt like he would do the best job for us...he didn't disappoint. | |As with any project of this size, there were a few setbacks and obstacles (tile problems).  Jeremy handled the situations with patience and professionalism. | | |

Our master bath remodel included a walk-in shower, tub surround and floor...all done in marble with accent pieces like crown and pencil molding in the shower, chair rail cap molding in the tub surround and floor pieces set on the diagonal.  Jeremy embraced this project as if he was doing his own bathroom instead of ours.  He offered valuable advice on the layout and placement of each tile and consulted with us frequently as well as answering all of our questions during the process.  Personable and anxious to please, he and Ryan (his helper) were punctual and our project was completed as promised.  If you need tile work, hurry up and call Jeremy!

Jeremy was very responsive to my initial inquiry and was able to give me an accurate rough estimate about cost. He came out and took a look quickly. He uses The Tile Shop to get the tile, so when contacting that store be sure to mention you are working with Jeremy because he passes his discount on to you! There were a few plaster and drywall problems when our old backsplash were removed. Jeremy said he could fix them one day and then install the tile the next, but since I do a lot of my own work, I fixed them ahead of time so he could install everything in one day. Excellent installation. The tile we chose was a basketweave of 1 inch tiles with about 1/3" tiles in between. Because those little pieces stick out further than the 1" pieces it makes installation very challenging. Particularly since we picked black grout. He had some concern that the black grout might darken the while marble, so he sealed the marble before applying the grout but warned us that it would probably darken a little. (The tile shop recommended a lighter grout but that wasn't the look we wanted). Jeremy was right but it wasn't bad. After all was dry I had to wipe down the marble to remove some areas where there was a thin grout film on the marble. There were a few areas of cracked or thin grout around the tiny pieces. Jeremy said he'd come fix those but since I can do that I went ahead and filled the few spots and touched up a few places before sealing it all. It looks excellent. Jeremy and his helper did an awesome job and I would definitely use him again.

Overall project was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Jeremy removed the old shower and hardware. Installed travertine tile shower walls with customized concrete shower pan.  He had us work with David Eubanks from the Tile Shop to make choices on tile types and designs.  Throughout the process Jeremy reviewed options on tile layout and suggestions for best appearance.  My wife had wanted an extra large shampoo holder which he designed.  He also utilized some tile we had from our original floor on the threshold front.  This was his suggestion.  Constructed custom corner seat too.  Jeremy had been recommend to us by John Jacobi-Unique Home Repair.  John completed all the plumbing for the project and coordinated with Jeremy.  Jeremy and his co-worker Ryan were on site early each morning and cleaned up before they left.  The project was completed on schedule.
Cost was for tile installation only. We purchased tile at the Tile Shop with his discount.  We purchased plumbing fixtures online at Faucet Direct and were installed by John Jacobi.  We are now obtaining quotes for the installation of a frameless glass door.
We expect our total project cost to be several thousand dollars less than those estimates received by several highly rated Angie's List bathroom remodeling contractors.
