Dan's Fence Co

Mixing old with new always tends to lend to PROBLEMS, especially  in construction. We had ordered the same fencing that had been installed prior (years earlier) to add to that fence. Dan's fence did agree to do the installation even though he would not normally consider installing another companies product.  Since the fence had been installed years before we purchased the property and it was still available, Steve Magee, owner of Dan's Fence Co. agreed to help us with our project. What we did not know is while it still had the same name that company had changed the dimensions enough to cause multiple installation problems. These problems were not discovered till the original sections had been removed and we were committed.  I must say while very frustrated, Steve, was wonderful of sticking it out and finding the solution.  It took allot of extra work, time and imagination but he was able to complete the job to our satisfaction. 
Steve was great to work with, with each new problem he stayed calm and pleasant. He always presented several options for me to choose from.

6From the initial contact with Steve Magee to completion of the job it was a pleasure to work with the people at Dan's Fence. I live in Virginia, my mother's yard is in Illinois, and my sister and Dan's Fence are in Indiana. I met with Steve on a visit in April. He gave great advice on how to lay out the fence, the best fencing to use, and the cost for the job. He gave us a start date for mid-June because of prior commitments on jobs. The people who put in the fence were as nice as they could be and completed a beautiful fence during the week of June 17 as promised. Steve provided the contract to me via email, we corresponded by phone and email, and I mailed him a check after the work was completed. The dog is happy (and safe), we are happy, and I would recommend this company to anyone contemplating a fence.

It was a great experience from start to finish!

Called to get estimate and he was very prompt and scheduled fence to be put up in approx 4 weeks.  Very nice job.

I only wish every project could run as smoothly as this one, start to finish. From getting an estimate to completing the fence every member of the staff was exceptionally courteous, professional and responsive to any questions & inquriies.  The project was delayed a week but we were notified two weeks out.  We were kept informed each day of the progress and plan for the next day.  The crew was here on time everyday and performed exceptional work to complete a beautiful fence.  They were also very accomodating about working with us to minimize inconvenience to our 4 dogs.  We are not just pleased but thrilled with the chance to do business with this company and would not hesitate to use them again.

I would recommend the company to anyone. They are really good.
