Precision Towing

I had a flat tire that had a nail in it. I called Anything Automotive who usually do my auto work but they said they don't do house calls but recommended Precision Towing. I called and they were out to my house in about 20 minutes. He safely jacked my car up and identified the problem and showed it to me. He removed the nail and patched the tire and filled it with air. The patch is working great and I was able to go on my way.

While pulling into a grocery store's parking lot my car started to lose power. By God's grace I was able to pull into a parking spot at which time my vehicle died. With the help of a friend it was determined the problem was with the alternator and Precision Towing was recommended to us by a business that deals in auto parts. After have the battery charged and I was able to drive to Precision Towing where it was confirmed that the alternator needed to be replaced. Chuck was the mechanic I spoke with and he quoted a price of just over $300.00 (dealership quoted me in excess of $600.00)....Mid-afternoon I called Chuck to see if I would be able to pick up my vehicle by the end of the business day. He advised that the way the vehicle is designed he had to uninstall and reinstall the new alternator, but he would do his best to finish the job by the end of the day... As it turned out I was able to pick-up the vehicle 5PM...I believe Chuck had just cause to increase the cost of labor from his $300.00 estimate but he chose not to. ..... I contacted Chuck again requesting an estimate for replacing my starter; his estimate $264 (dealership quoted me $565)...Can you guess who will be getting my business?
