It was a lousy experience. I had to sign a contract with him first of all, and nowhere in the contract did it say that my driveway could not be shoveled by anybody else. What had happened was, after I signed the contract and send it in, between that time and time he received that contract, we had a very bad snow, and my next door neighbour was nice enough the snow for me. Mr Mike comes to my house after the received the contract, which nowhere states that I could not have anybody else shovel my snow, he charged me anyway. He charged me 40 dollars to shovel my snow which he did not shovel. I would not recommend him to anyone.

He's on time, he does what he says he's going to do, and his price is good. He does an excellent job, but you have to pay him by check. He couldn't take mine because I don't use checks, so I had to buy money orders. I said I'm a lot older than you are and I don't use checks, so finally he got a card reader, but what he's doing is he's charging 5% more for the card.

New to the area, we found ourselves in a bind when a bad snowstorm left a drift across our driveway, and the heavy snow and cold temperatures made it impossible to get the snowblower out of the shed.  Even though we were new customers and they were very busy, they agreed to come out and plow us out (we had to get out for an appointment, so there was a time constraint).  The owner, Mike Hatch, came out himself and was very helpful.  We also elected to sign a contract with them for future plowing needs so we will be on their route and not have to worry about it going forward.

They did an excellent job.  Their prices are reasonable.  He is very nice.
