Great! Serviceman came out same day and said nothing was broken we just needed coolant and instructed us on how to keep coils from freezing. Referring them to neighbors now.

The technician was informative, professional and friendly. I would definitely use them again.

Our central air conditioner stopped working late last night. I had a morning dentitst appointment so as soon as I got home at 11:15 am, I called Absolute Air. Mark answered and I told him the problem. He asked when I would like to have someone come out and I said whenever you can send someone. He said he could come out here today sometime in the afternoon. At 1:45 pm Mark called and said they were on their way. By 2:00 pm Mark and Gus had arrived. They quickly figured out the problelm and replaced the capacitor and hosed out the coil. They were done by 2:40 pm.. My air conditioner is now running perfectly. While Mark was here I asked him if he could possibly give me a furnace estimate. He did and took the time to explain everything to me. Everything was great we will definately use them again.

Their service was good, it was excellent. They're ready when you needed them, they're on time and they have all the requirements for business.

I emailed this company from Angie's list on 5/6/14 and Brian responded the same day.  I called in the morning of 5/7/14 and got scheduled for the same day.  Tony called before he arrived (nice).  He went right to work and determined the problem.  He was very intelligent, very friendly, and explained everything he was doing as well as why our water heater problem existed.  He tested the system to make sure everything was working correctly.  Great experience.

Great.  It was much better than trying to get money out of us for a repair that was not necessary.

The company called to schedule my appointment promptly.  The technician who came was prompt, professional, and very patient in trying to determine my issue.   I was very satisfied.

I chose them because they were cheaper. They were professional, and courteous. They diagnosed the problem right away. I believed they overcharged me. I asked him to break him down the cost of labor and parts and he said that it was a flat rate. I feel as though they overcharge and once the work takes longer, they charge an hourly rate.

I have had them out to repair it at least five times for the same problem and it is still not working.

Part(transformer from new furnace 3 years ago) was still under warranty. Service call was $39. Labor was $59.

Problem fixed. Upset the Tech did not want to be bothered by me using a credit card.

That is exactly what we did.  We signed up for Angie's list, reviewed the providers and found that Absolute, in Portage, was a trusted provider.  We called them, they came over when they said they would and even called in advance to give us some notice.  The found the source of the problem and YES it was that cover with hairline cracks.  It needed just some silicone to seal those up.  With our furnace (it is about 14 years old/high efficiency) there have been ongoing issues with this little cover piece leaking.  Absolute didn't lie and try to 'replace' or repair some expensive part.  They told the truth, did the job, were in and out and it has not leaked since.  It has been a few weeks since the repair and all is well.  I plan to go back to Absolute because they have been honest with me and with others and that deserves continued loyalty to them.

This is not your common problem. We have a maintenance service through another company that dispatches different contractors. Every year for the last six years in the winter when it would get cold, the furnace could not keep up and we would freeze. Every year someone was sent out and the furnace was only temporariy fixed. A part was always replaced but when it got really cold the furnace could not function properly. This year the same thing happened and for the first time they dispatched Absolute Air. Within a few hours Ken arrived. I told him the problem we are having winter after winter.

Ken diagnosed the problem and explained it in detail so I could fully understand the problem. It needed limit switch and basically the furnace was too big for our house. So he said we needed a bigger vent exiting the furnace. It was New Year's Eve and the supply house was closed for the holidays. He said he or someone would be out first thing Thursday (1/2/14) to fix it.

Sure enough first thing Thursday (1/2/14) Chris came out and put the parts in. On Friday (1/3/14) Ken came back out to check it and adjusted the flame which was too high and adding to the past problem. He also suggested down the road at our convenience to put in a cold air return in the family room which will also cut down on our heating and air conditioning bills which we intend to do.

We I can tell you Ken is our hero. Recently when the State of Emergency was put into effect due to the snow and cold weather with below zero temperatures, the furnace worked fantastically for the first time. With those temperatures in the past the furnace would have never functioned properly. I have recommended Absolute Air to my friends and family. Thank you, Ken!
