They weren't willing to put my gutters back up, they said they would have to be nailed into the roofing and they couldn't guarantee their roofing, so they wouldn't do it. They would do it, but only their way. And I said no, I need someone that is going to put those gutters back. I paid enormous amount of money to get those put up and I want them back. How could they take them down and not put them back up? They would do the work, but they wanted more money and they would not reattach my gutter toppers. Now the gutter toppers they attach them to the roof edge. I didn't see where that would affect the roof itself. They wouldn't put them back up. That's why I didn't go with them. He was busy. He sent me a letter afterwards, probably a couple weeks to check back but I told him at the time I was in the process of getting a home loan and I would have to pay for it that way.

Work was done quickly by 4 men. The work inside the egress was extra, with no extra charge. Things look good. There was one heavy rain since the work, with no basement water problems.

The guy did a really good job, and they explained things well. I think they also did some extra things. They were really friendly. I would use them again for sure.

They showed up at 1 pm, introduced who they were and what they were going to do. My family and I went about our normal daily lifes as the work was being performed. Before dinner was over our new roof was completed, along with an outstanding clean up, you couldnt tell there was work done, all you saw was a brand new roof, nicest one on the block!

Explain what the cause of the problem was and have me the cost. Came on time and finidhed the job on time. Respectful team ( they even asked if the kids were still alseep before they started). Excellent customer service at initial visit. However, they said they were going to come to finish a portion of the work and they never came back. Work is still not completed two years after they started it.

-We decided to contact A&M based on their Angie's List reviews and the fact that I'd seen them on a job last summer and was impressed by the quick workmanship and quality of the work on the roof. I saw them starting a job on my way to work and they were finished by the time I got home! We contacted A&M for an estimate to replace the front of our roof as several shingles had blown off in high wind and our insurance was willing to cover the wind damage. Because of the terrible snowy and long winter we had in South Bend, they were too busy to come out for a week, but Mike showed up exactly when he was scheduled to do so and made a very thorough inspection of the damage and even secured the damaged shingles before he left. He reviewed the insurance quote, patiently explained our options and his quote, which was well under the amount allowed by the insurance. At our request, Mike also quoted a price for the entire roof, giving us a discount for having the entire roof done at once and had no problem honoring our $250 Angie's List coupon. He was very knowledgeable and patient in answering all our many questions as fairly new homeowners and roofing novices. We decided to only commit to the front part of the roof before we checked our finances and talked to the insurance company, but later decided to do the whole roof and they quickly adjusted with no problems or delay. Some of the best selling points for us were: the lifetime (50 year) warranty on the roof, with the option to transfer once greatly increasing resale value for our house; their credentials with BBB, willingness to provide proof of insurance, license, permit, etc; the fact that Mike as the foreman would be on job the whole time; and their honesty. He explained that they would not be able to do the job until it was over 50 degrees so the shingles would seal properly. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem in March, but again it was a horrifically cold and long winter. Mike said they had other jobs, but as ours would be only one day he hoped to be able to fit us in on a Friday within the next two weeks. He kept in touch and called a few days before to schedule a Friday job about two weeks later, but an unexpected snow on Thursday delayed about another week. But again they were constantly in touch and were able to do the job the following Wednesday. The crew arrived on time at 7:30 AM and were finished by 5:00 PM. This group of workers were extremely professional, quick, and most importantly did a fantastic job. The roof looks amazing and the job came in exactly on quote. Moreover, the clean-up was remarkable--not only did we not find one nail in the yard or on the decks, but they threw away a paper cup that had arisen out of the snow I'd noticed the day before, rolled up our extension cord, and hung up a lantern that had fallen over. Mike also let us know that they'd noticed the vent from our bathroom was venting into the attic, but not to the outside of the house as the vent pipe was not connected. This will help us from having a moisture problem in our attic too. The day they installed the roof was still a little on the chilly side so a few of the shingles hadn't laid down properly, but as promised, with a few sunny days above 50, they already look perfect just 3 days later. The paperwork was also sent quickly and Mike guaranteed that if any problems did arise, they would be fixed within 48 hours. Finally, they arranged to have the gutter people come on Friday and they also did an excellent job. We were extremely nervous about dealing with contractors after all the horror stories we've heard, and we could not have had a better experience. I talked to my mom afterwards, who is a real estate agent, and she said our experience is definitely not the norm and the great warranty almost unheard of. I very rarely take the time to write reviews, but felt I had to do so after such a stress-free, easy experience and such impressive results. I would wholeheartedly recommend A&M to anyone and would not hesitate to use them in the future should the need arise.

Jared came out and quoted the project. He is very knowledgeable and was able to give me a price right there and then. I called him because of the good reviews on Angie's list. They came out and in 2 days the whole job was complete. I am satisfied that I have a professional job and there was no mess left behind they laid down tarps around the house and cleaned up afterwards.

They had a special on Angie's List and they were pretty straight forward. I have a lot gutters and they said for any amount of gutters it was $80 and they went ahead and did it for me. I would highly recommend them. They were very, very, good.

Great company to work with! Jarrod was professional, punctual and friendly. The project came in right on budget with no surprises. The install went smoothly and our roof looks great. The installers were very polite and knowledgeable, answering all our questions about the process. I would definitely use them again.

The gentleman was here in quite a bit of time when he came out to quote the roof and give me an estimate. He gave me a very thorough estimate. He probably gave me more information than what I ever would have needed. There was no hidden cost. I knew exactly what I was getting and how much I was going to pay. I really liked the thorough quote that he gave. I have had them come back and give me a quote on some other job around my property as well.

We met A&M Services at a local Home Show and told them that we were interested in a new roof. We told them that we were ready to move forward, by getting some estimates. A few days later we met with Mike and obtained a quote on the spot. We were able to pick roofing from the samples and literature he had with him. We agreed upon a time schedule. They stayed in touch with us on a regular basis. On the day they promised, a crew showed up and began the work. They worked quickly and efficiently, finishing the job before the promised time. Cleanup was exceptional. The chimney and the roof looks great.

A&M home services were punctual in arriving for the estimate. After the contract to repair my roof was signed, and the date to do the repairs arrived. Mike and his crew were very punctual and wasted no time in completing the repairs. They were fast, and cleaned up the mess. The job looks very good and the chimney leak is gone!

Quite frankly the job went great! Jared arrived on time, explained what my problem really was (water puddling on the patio and running back against the foundation then into the basement.) and we agreed on a repair date and the price. Jared again, arrived on time with all the correct tools and supplies needed and completed the job faster than I thought humanly possible. His solution completely stopped the dampness I was experiencing in the basement.
