Brad Whicker and his construction team built our home in 2012, during this time Brad and his construction manager maintained constant communication during all phases of the build. This was my first time building a home and I would build with Whicker Construction again in a heart beat. Every aspect of our home is top level craftsmanship, we asked for custom trim for our doors and windows that were not available in-stock millwork. Brad's crew used our ideas and created our trim work exactly as we had envisioned. Brad and his team helped us through the stresses of the building phase by making any adjustments during construction and being available anytime we called with questions. Whicker Construction offers a great home along with great customer service, I knew every crew member by name and was impressed with their professionalism. There are always stresses during construction, Brad helped us minimize those and make the building experience a rewarding one.

It went great! Brad and his guys do a good job. They were done in a timely manner and did not leave anything. They cleaned up after themselves and you couldn't even tell they had been here except for the fixed areas. At our other rental home, we received compliments for them on how well mannered and courteous they were.

Whicker was outstanding on remodelling. They did the job that we wanted them to do and they did it well, and they cleaned up.

Their demeanor was very good, they were very friendly. I thought it was a reasonable price for what we wanted.

The job went well. We have a ranch home with a lot of roof surface. The repairs were completed as promised and they did a good job. The clean up was good. There were some stray nails in the landscaping when they were done, but I expected that. They completed the roofing work for what the insurance paid out.

We were very happy, we would use them again for anything.

It went Great! We are very pleased. We love our new space and kitchen. They knew our budget, our goals and worked in that framework. We were informed throughout the project of new wrinkles as they came up and our possible options. Adding on to our home like this had a few variables, because we had some demolition and knocking down of walls that had to occur. We started our actual building/digging right after Thanksgiving, right as it got wet and cold last year. Doing an addition on a house during the winter, especially as bad as the weather was last year, could have been a nightmare, but Brad and his guys did an amazing job. Occasionally we had to alter our initial thoughts because the structural integrity would have been compromised. The guys were always ontop of any issue that would come up and we could make the necessary corrections/adjustments. Aaron (site manager) and Tom were always willing to answer our questions and were family friendly. They were conscious of any safety concerns, since our kids were younger. This project took 6 months to finish and were in the house for half that time, so little ears were always listening and we had no concerns.
I was very impressed with Warren, the trim guy, who did the cabinet, trim and wood work. We converted our laundry room in to a mudroom/laundry room. He custom made floor to ceiling lockers for our 4 kids and it turned out great. The coutertop folks who came in stated they had never had cabinets so level before. He also did an amazing job on a custom vent hood.
They have also been great about following up with random issues over the last few months, even those that didn't end up pertaining to what they had done. They just have had great customer service through the entire thing. Once specific time during the remodel process, nothing to do with the addition, but our pipes froze in the garage (one of the coldest nights last winter), and I was able to call Brad Whicker early that morning and he had his plumber there and everything fixed by 10:30am. He didn't have to do that, but he takes care of his customers and sticks behind his name and his work.
For the fact that a family of 6 (including 4 small kids) was down to no kitchen, downstairs bath or downstairs water, Brad did everything in his power to make the process go as smoothly as was in his power. After the fact, we can still say living through this remodel was SO well worth it! We would highly recommend Whicker Construction and would definitely use them again in the future.

Overall the work was excellent. Had problem with electrical subcontractor who quit in the middle of the job. They stayed in contact by e-mail most of the time. The original completion date was missed by 30 days, but in there defense it was a big job. I would and have used them again.

After a plumbing disaster and repair, we needed a quality construction person to repair many holes in our textured plaster walls and ceilings. We also needed to replace a toilet that had cracked and paint a room where the previous paint job was peeling off and the trim and doors needed to be redone. From the intial review, quote and actual work, we were extremely pleased.
