When I spoke to Brian about it he was very unprofessional and rude. My manager with Tucker even spoke to him and no resolution was found. Larry Good homes is not a member of BAGI and does not work with realtors.

The builders at Larry Good Homes tried to do things we didn't authorize, and we couldn't get in touch with anyone when we need to. Their workmanship was horrible, from painting to finish work on outside. We had to repaint half the house ourselves, because we couldn't get a hold of anyone.
Response from LARRY GOOD HOMES
"Larry Good Homes tries to have our customers be happy with the experience of building a new home. In this case it appears we fell short. We have our side of the story: The [member name removed] home is a paired patio home. When we drew the final prints, they were not happy with the design of the entry of the home on other side. We discarded the prints and spent the money to design a new home to their liking. During the design process, they had an idea for their laundry area. I suggested it was not a good idea. When the draftsman drew the prints he suggested it was not a good idea. When they selected the cabinets the cabinet vendor suggested it was not a good idea. We purchased the cabinets and installed them per their request. Then they agreed it was not a good idea. We ordered new cabinets for that area to the tune of $2,000+ at our expense to keep peace. We did many ....many paint touch ups at their request. Some were done well past the time they lived in the home and we did repairs to damage caused from moving in. We sent the closing statement to them to make sure we agreed on extras and credits prior to the final closing. We worked through several adjustments. Mr [member name removed] came to the closing in a very upset mood and screamed at Brenda (office mgr) about details of the closing. We build 30-40 houses a year and have been in business for 40+ years. first time for this kind of response. The bottom line is that we want all of our customers to be happy with their new home and we are sorry the [member name removed] feel this way."

We chose them because we heard good things about them. It was an experience that everyone should go through where you choose everything from sinks to your faucets to your marbles and you get a home that's yours. It turned out to be everything that I expected and they finished the project on time

They did a great job for us. Of course they wound up all the workers that needed to come in and they were very timely in getting everything done. There was probably only one or two days where there wasn?t any type of construction activity happening; so they kind of kept the ball rolling and helped when it came to any questions that we had. They were more than welcome to answer; so it was a very good situation.

We are really pleased with our home built by Larry Good Homes. Jay Arnold did a great job of preparing us for the process, being organized, and soliciting competitive bids from solid subcontractors. Brian Good was also well-organized as construction superintendent and guided the large project to an earlier finish date than we had even anticipated. Brian has also quickly taken care of a few follow-up items post-closing. Our many friends who have had Larry Good Homes build their houses have sworn by their professionalism. We now join the ranks of so many before us who whole-heartily recommend Larry Good Homes as the top custom home builder in Hendricks County.

I found Brain Good and Jay Arnold and their entire staff very friendly and competent. The construction went well and any concern or question that I had was addressed fully and promptly. They are extremely knowledgeable and really understand what features are available. This was very helpful since we had not built a home for a very long time. The home was completed to a high level of quality, on time, and within budget. The construction details and the finished carpenter work are well done and was even praised by brother-in-law who is a high home builder in New England.

Larry Good Homes built our home in Plainfied last year. We highly recommend them to any and all! Jay handled the pre-build planning and financing for us and Brian was in charge of the building side. Both of them are extremely professional and we tell everyone about how wonderful they are. When we build again, we will use them without question.
