We've used Hardin Heating and Cooling for over 15 years.
We like to use local family owned busineeses and have always been very happy with their service. They are prompt, professional and courteous. Additionally, we find that their service cost to be better than average.
We try to schedule serice twice a year just to be sure our heating and AC are working properly prior to the needed season. However, when we have had an issue with our AC or furnace, when we needed them most, Hardin has always been quick to respond.

Every time my hot water would kick in, the pilot light in my furnace would go out. I didn't know what was going on and I called them for the repair. I previously had another company come out to repair a leak in my gas line. It was under my house, but they couldn't get underneath my house to reach the metal pipes. Instead, they installed tubing. When Hardin's came out, they found that the tubing the previous company installed was causing the problem because they were not compatible. They ended up having to cut off my gas stove and cap it. We also learned that they never contacted Citizens Gas for that repair when they were supposed to. Hardin's found out exactly what was wrong with and was able to repair it. I love them and am very happy with them.

Randy has always treated us professionally and done quality work. They are a very small organization so sometimes when you need routine service you may have to wait. However he shows up when he promises and in an emergency - he is there!

They were very professional and knowledgeable. I would use them again if I had a problem.

When I called them, it was about 60 degrees. They suggested that they come out on a day where it was at least 70 degrees so they could get a more accurate reading. They called me when the temp reached 70 and asked if now was a good time. I was so impressed, they could of come out and pulled the wool over my eyes and I wouldn't have been the wiser. They came out and discovered that the unit was low on freon. He also checked the heating. I felt I was really taken care of properly instead of being another service call on the chart. They waited until the conditions were appropriate to get an accurate reading and I plan on using them in the fall come heating season.

They came out on a Saturday and fixed it the same day.
