 + 1 moreThe work was done on a vacation home in NC. We began talking with Tom about it several years ago. He had to obtain his contractor's license for NC in order to take on this project. We provided him housing while he worked on the project. Tom is a very professional worker and we could not be more pleased with what he has done. We know him through our church. He is a hard worker and very particular. He anticipate many things that we never thought of and consulted us on all the decisions. He was very cooperative about the things that we wanted done. We added many small "fix-up" jobs as we went along. He is honest to a fault.
Description of Work: Worked with us to design kitchen. Obtained all permits. Removed walls to rebuild and enlarge kitchen. Dug out crawl space. Hired plumber and electrician and concrete worker to lay foundation. Removed a wall in order to open kitchen to dining room. Built walls under existing roof. Installed doors and windows. Drywalled, finished and painted them them. Laid tiles. Installed cabinets. Removed and replaced floor in dining room. Finished it and painted DR. Repaired steps to basement. Insulated attic, walls and underneath kitchen floor. Removed debris. Installed drains and poured a concrete "approach" to kitchen door. Leveled and replanted yard. Advised on and installed appliances.
