"I have never received a message from either one of the above mentioned people. We always return our phone calls. I apologize if they left a message and I didn't receive it. We did change our phone system over in June. If they would like, I could give them an estimate. Sorry for the miscommunications."
"THIS IS VERY DISHEARTENING. YES, WE HAD SOME ISSUES WITH TIME, HOWEVER IF YOU WERE TO LOOK AT THE WEATHER CONDITIONS BETWEEN THE END OF MARCH, THE WHOLE MONTHS OF APRIL AND MAY, YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND A LOT OF THE DELAYS WERE WEATHER RELATED. YES, WE DID HAVE SOME STAFFING PROBLEMS AND BECAUSE WE ARE A SEASONAL COMPANY, THIS IS BOUND TO HAPPEN. THEY ALSO HAD SOME ISSUES WITH CALLING US BACK. WE WAITED SOME TIME TO HEAR BACK FROM THE MEMBER WITH PAINT COLOR CHOICE. WE ALSO ASKED FOR A DEPOSIT TO ORDER THE COVER AND WAITED TO HEAR BACK FROM THEM AS WELL. AS SOON AS WE DID, THEY DID DRIVE IT THE SAME DAY. IT WAS A CUSTOM COVER WHICH TAKES A FEW WEEKS TO MAKE AND DELIVER. WE WALKED THEM THROUGH THE CLOSING OF THEIR POOL LAST YEAR, WE REPAIRED THE CRACK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SWIMMING POOL, WE PAINTED THE POOL, WE PRESSURE TESTED THE LINES, WE DID SOME EXTRA REPAIRS TO THEIR PUMP THAT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL QUOTE, WE FILLED THE POOL WITH TRUCKED IN WATER. WE DID ALL OF THIS WITH NO DEPOSIT. WE NEVER MENTIONED A PRICE TO REPAIR BROKEN LINES (IF THAT WAS WHAT WAS WRONG). PHIL EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT THEIR IS NO WAY OF PUTTING A PRICE ON REPAIRING LINES BECAUSE OF THE EXTENT OF WORK THAT MAY NEED TO BE DONE. HE DID TELL THE MEMBERS THAT THE REPAIR OF THE CRACK WOULD DEFINITELY HELP WITH THE POOL LOSING WATER, WHICH IT DID. WE ARE A SMALL COMPANY AND NEVER TELL A CUSTOMER THAT WE WILL HAUL AWAY ANYTHING. WE DO NOT HAVE THE MEANS TO GET RID OF ANYTHING BIG WITHOUT RENTING A DUMPSTER. WHEN WE WENT BACK TO THE HOUSE TO ADDRESS THE SCREWS ON THE DECK AND THE CIGARETTE BUTTS, WE DID REMOVE ALL THAT WERE VISIBLE AND ALSO BLEW OFF ALL THE LEAVES AROUND THE POOL. WE DID APOLOGIZE FOR THAT, BUT I BELIEVE AGAIN THAT WE TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM AND WENT BEYOND AS WELL TO MAKE IT BETTER. PHIL DID TRY TO CONTACT THE MEMBER AND WE NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL BACK. WE HAVE SENT THEM INVOICES FOR THE REMAINING BALANCE AND HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM THEM UNTIL I SENT A FINAL NOTICE THE SECOND WEEK OF OCTOBER. WHY WAS THE BAD REPORT ONLY WRITTEN AFTER THEY RECEIVED THE FINAL NOTICE. WHY DIDN'T THEY POST ANYTHING IN JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, OR THE BEGINNING OF OCTOBER? THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE TO ME. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THEY RECEIVED EVERYTHING THAT WAS PROMISED AND ALL THAT WE WANT IS TO GET PAID THE REMAINING MONEY THAT IS DUE US. WE ARE NOT WILLING TO DEDUCT HALF OF THE REMAINING BALANCE. IF THEY WERE NOT HAPPY WITH US (WHICH THEY ARE NOT) THEY DON'T HAVE TO USE US AGAIN (WHICH THEY DIDN'T) BUT THEY CAN NOT, BY LAW, DECIDE NOT TO PAY US. THIS IS A VERY UNFORTUNATE SITUATION."
