It was a nightmare in general. Jacob Clingaman is the owner and was recommended by his father Mike, a local business owner in Peru, Indiana. It started fine but there were change orders added by the workmen that were never discussed, let alone, signed off on that were in excess of $3000. The quality of work was often poor and the house has been degraded by their work. The oversight of the workmen was poor or non-existent and follow-up was the same. In the end, he walked off the job, leaving it unfinished. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. Much of the work required my help, completion, or redoing from quality issues. Use of non-certified helpers to do electric and plumbing. He would not stand behind work and abandoned my home in a mess.
