Currently I'm going to take him to court to have to sue him for my money because he's refusing to give it back to me after 2 months of asking and him promising he was going to give me back my money on February first 2018 and now he's still refusing to give me my money.

This project was estimated at 3-4 weeks. It took over 4 months to finish. They only showed up on average 1 day per week. They do exceptional quality work but they were rarely here working. I had the building inspection and they need a couple of pics that were taken during the project. I have tried contacting Blunt Bros for 2 months with no reply. Emails..text.. voice mails... Lesson learned ..don't pay until final inspection is approved!!!!!!

Finished project did not match agreed upon written specifications on estimate. Final payment was adjusted, but overall we wished for our original plan. Owner of business was accommodating, but some work (with changes) was completed without our approval.

When they FINALLY got to it, the worker finished in approximately 4-5 days.

Absolutely awesome!!! Way beyond our expectations!!!! Actually worked 14 hours one day, in the heat and never complained!!! Great team of guys, very friendly and professional!!!! Finished in 3 days, ahead of schedule!!! Got several estimates and by far theirs out beat the competition by thousands of $$$ and we could not be happier with the results!!!! Kyle is a great guy, very personable and professional
Delivers what is promised!!! Am going to use him again in the future to have a pergola built around my pool !!!!

I can absolutely not say enough about the service provided by Kyle at Blunt Bros Construction.

We shopped around for prices (from at least 5 different companies) before we chose Kyle, and not only did he have a history of quality work based on his reviews, he gave us the lowest price for the fence. Despite the competitive price, he delivered 100% on this fence and we couldn't be happier. 

We were happy with Kyle's service throughout the process, but there were several times that he went way above and beyond which made his work ethic and dedication to this job shine. First, he drove all the way to Indianapolis (5 hour round trip) to Home Depot because the Home Depot in Louisville was out of the supplies he needed for the gate, and he didn't want to make us wait even though it would have only been a 2 day difference. I told him he didn't have to do that, but he expressed that when he commits to a job and gives us a time that it will be done, he stands by that. The second was that we had a tree that was overgrown and in the way of one of the corners of the fence. It would have been easy to cut corners here and sort of build around it, but he brought his chainsaw out and worked like crazy to cut this thing down. Not only that, we had another tree in the yard that was overgrown and had nothing to do with the fence, but he asked if we wanted him to trim that tree for us (which was quite the undertaking). He not only did this for us for no extra charge, he also cut all of this into pieces and hauled them away.  

Something we were concerned about was that we have two 6 lb dogs, and we asked Kyle to make sure the fence and gate were low enough to the ground so that the dogs couldn't escape. He assured us he would, and he definitely followed through on that. There's no way those dogs are getting out, and we feel SO much better now knowing we can relax when we let them outside for short periods of time unattended.

He was professional and polite from the start. It was blistering hot outside while he worked, and he never complained and worked his butt off to get the fence done. And the end result is AWESOME. We love this fence- it looks great and is very sturdy. We really like how he adds extra structure to the gates so that they don't sag, which is something I haven't heard of anyone else offering as a part of the general price of a fence. Overall, we are more than happy that we went with Kyle and Blunt Brothers Construction for our fence. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone we know.

Going by the categories above:
Price - overall it was a great price - reasonable and affordable.  While we had very slightly lower quotes, Kyle's confident and punctual service, cheerful demeanor and solution-finding, can-do-it attitude clinched the deal for us.  Sure enough, it was an excellent value for a reasonable price.
Quality - Used good materials - the finished product looks amazing and is holding up well.
Responsiveness - We were able to be in contact with Kyle whenever we needed, either by phone or text.  He was quick to answer any questions, give valuable suggestions and kept us posted on the progress of the job and what he'd be doing next.
Punctuality - This is the first contractor who actually showed up at the time he said he would!  The job itself actually took a day or two longer than first estimated, but part of the reason was that we asked for an extra gate to be put in, and then needed a bigger size.  For all of that, Kyle worked with us really easily.
Professionalism - yes, definitely.  And at the same time, he has an easygoing manner and is very family-friendly.
Some highlights:
Kyle stayed within the estimate he gave us, even though throughout the project he and his team were ready to throw in helpful extras.  For example, we decided on including this tree stump that's in our yard within the fence, because our little ones have fun playing around and on it. However, after they left our 2 year old fell from the stump and got a bruise on the face. The next day, when Kyle and his team saw that, he immediately said that they'd remove the rough bark on the stump and round off the edges, making it all smooth and much safer to play on.  This was above and beyond the call of duty, and he did it just because he can't stand to see kids hurt and has fun working hard! No extra charge.
They also took out an unruly bush that remained when they tore down the old deck (including the roots of the bush) and hauled it away too.  Again, no extra charge. 
Moved a fence pole after it was set, when we realized we wanted to extend the fence a little further.  No complaining, no extra charge for labor, only for the additional fencing needed.
We are very well pleased - even 3 months after the completion of the work!
Will definitely be calling Blunt Brothers (a family business) next time we need work done.
