We have taken our Weimaraner to Dr. Lisa since she was a puppy until her recent death. We have always been happy with Dr Lisa's services and expertise. We live just south of Lafayette and although Oxford is a far drive, we have always found it worth our while.
Our dog was not feeling well on a Thursday evening. Her symptoms became much worse and decided she needed to get to a vet. We took her to All Pets in Lafayette due to the fact they opened at 6 in the morning. Our suspicions were our dog had suffered bloat, a condition where the stomach turns around inside the dogs body. Our dog showed nearly all the signs and symptoms of this condition, however, the vet at All Pets dismissed this idea and gave our dog an injection saying her symptoms should subside. Around 2 in the afternoon, things were still awful so we thought we should get another opinion. We called Oak Grove and Dr. Lisa was able to work us in right away despite her busy schedule. Our fears were confirmed that our dog did indeed have bloat. She was able to start surgery in a couple of hours, unfortunately, too much damage was already done and our sweet dog died Saturday morning. The last couple hours of her life were comfortable. The staff at Oak Grove was kind enough to send us pictures of our dog snuggled in blankets and heating pads to keep her comfortable (there was a chance she would still pull through). Dr Lisa personally called us to let us know the bad news of her passing.
Highly recommend their team.

We have used Oak Grove for several years now, taking our weimaraner for miscellaneous medical services. Dr. Lisa is very thorough and knowledgeable. The prices here are nearly half of what he have paid at somewhere like VCA Animal Hospital. We live in Lafayette, so it is a bit of a drive, but it is worth it!
