Panels to garage door were replaced but they left off the guard ware that was on the original panels and a strip at the bottom. They left the “repaired” garage door in a much less secure and more flimsy condition than the original. Plus the door is asymmetrical now and light shines through the sides and that wasn’t the case before. I’ve been trying to get them to rectify this situation but have been ignored. They were already paid so I guess that’s what mattered to them. Small consolation, they were less expensive than the other company we contacted.

Left message on a Saturday afternoon with home appliance warranty company, got call from Ward's (their designated contractor) about an hour later. Agreed I'd e-mail photo of door spring(s) on Monday; got initial quotes for in-warranty and out-of-warranty repair (later advised by Ward's that it was out-of warranty); and got tentative appointment for Tuesday. Got follow-up call first thing Mon. morning. After everyone got on the same page about my transmittal of the e-mail I had sent, I was told that photo indicated to Ward's that problem was the spring, that they could handle the make of the garage door opener involved, and confirmed appt. for next morning. Tech (a retired employee - unusual, but I agreed) arrived promptly on Tues., was very courteous and professional, seemed to fix the spring mechanism in about 30 mins. (approx.), and door has been working since. I would recommend Ward's to others for its prompt, courteous service, and for what seemed to be, so far as I was aware, a reasonable price.

We went through our home warranty, I submitted the request online and received a call from them within half an hour. The garage door was fixed within about 2 days, with professional service and very responsive office staff. I would highly recommend them.
