We had the Company Owner, Ed quote us for a re-shingle job on an 1800SF home, and an 8x10 exterior porch roof. The porch roof leaked, but the soffitt was OK, and the exterior door opened correctly with plenty of clearance and no interference's. To get our job, Ed agreed to match the quote of a competitor. He said he would do the 8x10 porch immediately after the 1800SF large roof. He made us pay 50% up front on 8/12/2015. They did not show up to do the job on the date that he said. He was a few days late. The re-roof, shingle job on the first home looks OK. He did not have his crew do the second job on the 8x10 porch roof until I called and made him re-schedule it. He did not start second job until almost 2 weeks after first job. He came over for his remaining payment on Sept. 11th, 2015. I had just got back from being out of town and had not been over to the 8x10 porch roof house yet that is 3 miles from the other job. I went over on 9/11 after I paid him only to find a big mess of all removed roofing all over the area. The roofing and soffit was re-done but not finished. The soffit/porch cieling work is the problem. The exterior screen door scrapes the ceiling when swinging open and the aluminum is bent where they tried to push it up. It is all scraped up, and looks bad, and very un-finished. I called Ed and asked him "when are you going to finish this job and clean it up?" He said "first thing Monday morning." That did not happen...it took him days to clean it up. He did not Fix the Screen door scraping. He said that he noticed the same thing, and his guys would come out and fix it. They did not come out to fix it. I called him back again and he said next week. He still did not come back, and is starting to ignore my calls and texts and emails. At this point it is 9/21/2015. He finally replied on 9/23 and said he would get them there on 9/24. They did a No Show on 9/24. I texted him, and he said he would personally handle it the next day(9/25) and call me. He did not show up. On 9/28 he texted me and said "It's Done now, door opens all the way." I replied "No scrape on the soffitt, right?" He said, "Yes correct.", I said "Thank you, and I'll check it out and let you know." (I will attach a photo to to this review to show this hacked up mess he left.) When he or his crew came back, you can see they just used metal shears to hack away at the left end of the aluminum and bent things around until the door would clear. I is also still all scraped up. This is the worst quality workmanship I have ever seen. I kept calling and complaining, and finally talked to him again. He said his guys did a good job, and he had discounted the job by $400. That $400 discount is what he agreed too before the contract to get the job from a competitor. Since then, he has learned all of my phone numbers, and email addresses and does not return any communication....he never answers.
