I called Classic Seamless Gutters (CSG) and left a message explaining the issue to them, and asked for an estimate. I received a call back the same day. The woman on the phone was friendly and helpful. I was told that a sales person would be out to inspect the gutter to provide an estimate by the end of the week or the start of the next. I agreed to this and described the issue again. I was told that I would not need to be present during the inspection. I received a call (I believe early the next week, though my records aren't clear on this fact) explaining that the gutter in question needed to be "re-nailed" and cleaned, which would resolve the issue. This sounded reasonable to me and I understood "re-nail" to mean detach and reattach the gutter in the proper place, though this was not explicitly stated. I was again told that I would not need to be present when the work was done. The quoted price was reasonable so I agreed. Within the week, I received another phone call letting me know that the work had been completed and that I would receive an invoice in the mail. When it arrived, I paid the invoice over the phone. A day or two later, it rained very heavily in the evening. I went outside to check the gutter and discovered that water was still leaking behind it, just as profusely as it had before. The next day I called CSG again, left a message explaining that the gutter was still leaking, and asked for an explanation. I received a brief but apologetic phone call from CSG the next day and was told that they would send someone out to look at it again as soon as possible. No explanation was given as to why it had not been fixed the first time and I was not told what, if anything, had been done the first time. I reiterated where the problematic gutter was and requested that I be called ahead of time so that I would be here when the technician arrived, to avoid any further mistakes. The woman on the phone agreed to this. I was told that I would be called to confirm the scheduled repair date, and that the technician would call before he arrived so that I could be prepared. I never received either of these phone calls. A week later I was working from home and was surprised to discover that someone was walking on my roof. I went outside and discovered that two CSG employees were at my house. I talked to one of them, explained the issue to him, and showed him the problematic gutter. He explained that the gutter was hanging below the drip edge and would need to be reattached. This is, of course, what I had originally hired them to do and I reiterated that this was in fact the job I wanted done. He said that they would take care of it. He also told me that, in fact, my real issue was in the front of my house with a different gutter, which is what they had repaired the first time. (For the record, I have never had any problems with the gutter in the front of the house.) I went back in the house to do some work. Shortly thereafter, the two men left. I got my ladder and inspected all of the gutters on the house. The problematic gutter still had not been touched. I also discovered that the gutters in the front of the house had been modified. Though I never got any official statement of the work done to these gutters, it appears that they either pulled the drip edge lower or installed a new, longer drip edge. This new drip edge hangs unevenly in the gutter and sticks out at varying depths into the gutter. It is difficult to describe accurately, but it is not a seamless, uniform edge the way the original drip edge had been. There was also a large (larger than my hand) glob of caulk in the corner of the gutter. I cleaned up the caulk mess myself. Rather than call CSG again, I decided to wait a few days to see if I would be called. I thought perhaps that I had encountered the sales person rather than the technician. I did not receive any phone calls. A few days later I called CSG myself and left a message asking if the work had been finished. The next day, I received a hurried phone call explaining that the work had in fact been finished. I was not asked to pay anything for the second round of work. When I got home, I got my ladder and inspected the problematic gutter. I found that the gutter had not been "re-nailed" or reattached as I expected, but that the same work had been done on this gutter as had been done in the front of the house. The drip edge has either been pulled down or a new, longer one has been installed. It is also uneven and irregular. There was no caulk to clean up this time. It rained hard again that night. I went outside and noticed that water still drips a bit from behind the gutter, but not as profusely as before. I am still deciding if I will deem this job finished or if I will call a different company to address the issue.

I acknowledge that I didn't ask the right questions with this provider and relied too heavily on their rating on Angie's List. But overall, I was tremendously disappointed with my experience. Classic Seamless Gutters was one of three providers I requested a quote from. On the plus side, Classic returned EVERY phone call and provided a quote very quickly. One of the other providers (also found on Angie's List) took a week to respond with a quote and the third provider (also found on Angie's List never returned my phone call. Installation was within days after I agreed to the work. Again, never having had gutters installed, I didn't ask the right questions. But, based on the second quote I received, the price seemed very high for what I got. Also, I didn't ask if clean up was included in the price. It was not included and I'm still finding pieces of the board they replaced in my yard (more than a month later). Another plus: a board needed replaced and they were willing to do that, but when I saw the work, I (again) feel I was way overcharged for that service. Tree branches and limbs needed to be cut to do the work and I would have liked a call asking me if I cared if my tree was brutalized (because that's what it looked like - hacked to pieces). Although I didn't confirm with Classic, the board they replaced must have been in bad shape because it appears it came apart in pieces. Or maybe that's what happened to it when they dropped it in outside my fence and didn't clean it up. The numerous branches and limbs were also dropped outside my fence, which added time to the cleanup I had to perform myself. They also didn't ask what should be done with the old gutters and I didn't tell them where to leave them. I take responsibility for not telling them, but I still feel frustrated that they ended up dumped on top of emerging day lilies. A backyard that was full of empty spaces (just dirt, no grass) and the old, rusty gutters were dumped on top of plants (that didn't bloom this year). The gutters were what you'd expect. I paid for the "premium" screen and was told that the openings were "pinhole" size. More like big nail size. Their "premium" screening appeared to be the kind you can buy on a roll at the hardware store for $3.95. Worst of all, it's the kind of screen that goes under the shingles which effectively voids my roofing warranty. This is also something I didn't ask ("Will your work void my roofing warranty?" didn't seem like something I'd need to ask). The screen was installed at an angle and at the end of every length of gutters there is an opening that is the perfect size for birds to enter and make a nest, which is exactly what immediately happened after the gutters were installed. They were willing to return to close off ONE (of at least 10) of the open areas and to cut one of the downspouts to fit a rain barrel when I called. I came home while they were finishing up one of those trips and the installer was smoking like a chimney, which explains why my second floor smelled so bad (open windows) after the main installation. Overall I feel like an idiot for contracting with them - I spent as much for a shoddy job that I would have spent with the second contractor who sent a quote for what, based on the brochure they sent with the quote, would have been at least twice as nice as what I got.

I called around 4:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon and received a call back on the following Monday. I was provided with an estimate that same day and the work was completed on Tuesday morning. I was very pleased with the quick response and the work performed. I would highly recommend.

Salesman came promptly, quoted price that included optional gutter screens, but said I probably didn't need them since our landscape maintenance service cleans gutters. He did not give a firm date for the service (a very small job) and I called twice and received service dates, but because of weather they didn't come either of those dates, but came a few days later. I wasn't home, just arrived to find the new gutters installed. Everything was cleaned up. I am very happy with the service. Highly recommended.

They came in and installed the gutters without even my realization. It was a bit weird to have them come and complete the job without arranging a time with me. However, they got the job done quickly, so I can't complain much about the timing. They even came out to the house beforehand when I wasn't home to help provide an estimate. The installation looks very clean, and the mesh was properly installed under the roof shingles. The gutters without the protective mesh would have been much cheaper, but the large tree in the yard produces a great amount of leaves that would clog the gutters without the mesh.

Jason's crew was here on the morning of the 10th and installed all new gutters and downspouts before the rain started. It took them about 2 hours and I hardly knew they were here. We are very happy with how everything looks.. They returned on the 11th to install the gutter covers. You can tell these guys have a lot of experience...they did a beautiful job and we're very happy.

We had really simple needs and expectations (basic white gutters and downspouts), and Classic Seamless did a great job!
Jason was responsive, friendly, efficient, and professional. He was the one who showed up for the estimate, and also one of the guys who did the work. They showed up several days earlier than originally expected (but they called first so we knew to expect them). I was surprised how quickly they finished, but they did good work. Two months later and no issues at all. The gutters look great and they function well.

Classic did a wonderful job. Came same day to give quote. We didn't even need to be home for them to do this. When we hired them they came the next day to put gutters up! Left no messes when they left the job. Very friendly on the phone. Very satisfied with the work they did. I would hire them again. Work ect came with a 5 year warranty.

They have their own equipment where they make the gutters exactly your length on their truck. They are real knowledgeable. They invite you out for you to see how they do the job and they show you what they did when they are done. I think it took a little more time than what they originally quoted because our house is probably pretty hard to quote because of how big it is. I was satisfied with what I got for my money.

Jason the owner and i finally got together and he checked the gutter and told me what he thought was the problem. Then put up a new gutter and down spout which should fix the problem. It was done very quickly and Jason was very nice about the whole deal. I would use this company again as Jason was very concerned about my being happy with their service. There was no charge to me for this being done.

It went well. They were right on time, got out their tools and proceeded to get going.
As I had already met with them to discuss doing the job, we both had a good idea what was needed to be done.
I had new gutters put on the front and back of my house and the front of my garage. I have a small single story house, so it was not a difficult job.
They made it look easy and were done in short order. Cleaned up their equipment and some small debris and were off to other customers.
