However, the end result did not solve my water seepage into the house entirely; granted the recent pummeling of rain we had would be enough to keep any basement dry, however even with this extensive treatment, AND perforated pvc piping for runoff to go to their newly installed sump pump, I've had at least three incidents where water entered the lower foundation areas (photographed); my intentions were to increase the value of my home with this significant investment ($80k property value); I don't believe I can sell this home now because of this situation;
In all fairness to Big E however, it's possible that a plumbing contractor who did some work after Big E had completed their portion may be at fault for some of my dilemma. They moved the main water line over 4' and may have not sealed the old location properly in the lower cinder block; this is an area the seeps during heavy rain.
Perhaps my situation is unique; my home is a 1925 build, and there a unknowns here that may beyond my scope of understanding. In my best judgment however, this service did not meet my expectations.
