We have built 3 houses and this has by far been the best experience.  All new builds have hiccups and it is how they are handled that makes a difference.  Not only did they build a high quality house, they took care of all our needs and concerns immediately.  Would definitely use them again.

Steve Williams of Williams Custom Art originally built our home in 1998. We were pleased with his work then, so it was not a difficult decision to hire him again for the remodel. Steve uses an excellent trim carpenter, Kevin, and he is one of the main reasons we did not even consider any other company. Kevin removed all the old cabinets, counters, and backsplash. He was very careful because we did not replace our tile floor. He rehung selected cabinets in our laundry room, and I was able to hire a company to reuse my Corian countertop in there also. We got a new oven, Advantium microwave/oven, and induction cooktop. Steve uses ADS Cabinets in Westfield for the cabinets and they were good to work with. George, the gentleman from ADS, measured everything correctly, but the Jasper company that made the cabinets still made one incorrectly. It was replaced within two weeks at no charge to us. George was the one to suggest a decorative hood over the cooktop, and that changed our mind to have Steve change the cooktop from a downdraft vent to through a hood. We were able to find an induction cooktop that worked with the currecnt amperage we had for our original cooktop so that saved us some money in not having to rewire. We also did not change the basic footprint of the original kitchen, except to remove a small island. We had enough original tile left to fix this area and some other tile repairs.

Steve Williams has built two homes for us, and he recently completed a kitchen remodel on our present home. Steve did not build our present home. Williams Custom Art Builders and specifically Steve are simply the best.
Quality, attention to detail, and professionalism apply to Steve. He does what he says he is going to do for the price he promised. He uses high quality subcontractors and he closely monitors the building or remodeling process.
We would not use anyone else.

Williams was a great company to work with. They listened to our wants and needs for the basement and helped develop a floor plan that covered everything. They responded quickly to any concerns that arose during the process and were thorough and meticulous. Williams treated our basement project as if it was being done in their home, making sure everything was of quality workmanship. They worked hard and made suggestions that kept us in budget and also completed the work within the time specified. We are very happy with the result.

They did a great job. It took a little longer than I expected but the finished product was exceptional. They were very honest and professional. They were personable and easy to get along with.
